Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Generally the app works great, every once in a while it crashes. Much improved from before.
1 ★Awful interface. Limited selection. Won't even authenticate, so it doesn't even do what little it claims to. Worst app I've come across in a while.
2 ★Overall I like it when it works but it's buggy. It worked for a couple of days but now it crashes and I can't use it.
1 ★Open the app and it just crashes.
3 ★Good way to get the mag in the UK. Slight issue with app not showing all issues and had to reinstall
3 ★Why is the magazine not on Google Play Magazines?
1 ★Can not use this app!
1 ★Can't download issues only downloads when it wants to..
4 ★It has a good interface and has been perfectly stable for me. I like it being a stand alone app, I find it easier to navigate than Google mags. You are able to download some back issues...it would be 5 star if all back issues were available. You get a free issue when you download. I am considering purchasing a subscription. Bottom line...as good as if not better than Google magazine app to read a quality publication.
1 ★Works ok on nexus 4 running 4.2.1... Why not let me select the viewer I want to use.? I have instead I'm forced to use their sub–par app to access their own content.... I at least they allow you to download issues onto your device. UPDATE: latest update crashes all the time...
1 ★Can't purchase back issues. That feature is only available through iPhone app. Come on?! Would prefer to see subscription managed via Google Magazines with option to purchase back issues via Google Magazines. Google Magazines is a professional stable platform. This app is flaky and amateur. Such a shame from such a great publication. New update crashes every time I try and view an issue! Just about ready to cancel subscription!
1 ★"Unfortunately BYOmag has stopped." Worked fine for two months. What's up with that? It's an otherwise nice app that obviously isn't stable. Nexus 7.
