Description

WAMC Northeast Public Radio is a regional public radio network serving parts of seven northeastern states. These include New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania. Twenty eight stations and translators in locations throughout the region. Alan Chartock is President and CEO of the network. Our studios and offices are located at 318 Central Avenue in Albany, NY.

3 ★Love the station. The app need a little work. Switches from FM to HD station by itself. When paused it starts from the beginning instead of where paused. I get couldn't play track a lot.

1 ★Horrible. Stream routinely stops and I have to ff to get to current location. It switches automatically to bbc. Even when I stop listening, it continues running in the background until I force stop it. Please, add the stream back to the NPR app, that one works. Don't force me to use your horrible app Mr. Chartok. UPDATE: I had given the app two stars solely because of content; however, I can't do that anymore, as I can't reliably get the content. Going back to npr app, even if it means non-local.

2 ★This app won't stop running until I force stop it. The icon is stuck in my message center and never goes away even after I stop all apps. So happy to have a WAMC app but it needs an exit button to shut it down when you are done. Also, in two hours of listening, the audio stopped 4 times (despite the fact that the app was still running in the background.)

1 ★You have to do a forced stop to exit this app on Galaxy S3. It is also very intrusive requiring access to much personal information it should not need. I do not recommend and am uninstalling until WMAC fixes the problems.

5 ★This is a well designed app, easy to use, and gives me an easy way to listen to my favorite station on my smartphone. Love it!

2 ★This app is still awful. I have to force stop it because when I select it from my active menu, It opens a second app. Also, look & feel is old fashioned . After looking for a good model, I suggest looking at Oregon public broadcasting. While also a little buggy, look and usability is excellent.
