Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Doesn't autorequest location so had to zoom out & manually relocate map. No ratings apparently in my county or any surrounding counties in Ohio (I live near Cleveland). Looking forward to being able to be a contributor to this project, remember seeing a similar one from I think the UK a while back, don't know why my fellow Americans can't get our acts together to get this going. FTR Google Guides has been asking some accessibility questions (at least I get them, my written reviews often include the word "wheelchair" which might be triggering the prompt), might be able to collaborate with them to get some initial data seeding, then I would recommend having a pool of trusted/verified guides with various disabilities to fine tune the ratings for different needs. My needs as a manual wheelchair user capable of standing/walking for short spans aren't the same as those of, say, a person with quadriplegia in an electric wheelchair (they can do steeper ramps, I can handle toileting myself), and sometimes the male & female washrooms are not equally accessible from what I hear (I am female). Also, I hope there is included data for those with disabilities other than mobility. For instance, I know my friends with Autism or Anxiety would appreciate knowing what places they can go to that there is a "decompression" spot other than a toilet stall if they get overwhelmed.
5 ★Finally an Android version of my favourite app of all time!!
2 ★Looks like it would be great but no places around me showing on the map as accessible and it doesn't let me add any either 🖓
1 ★I think it needs to be upgraded to other places besides Toronto but it is a great idea
1 ★Great idea but nothing like enough data in it to be useful. At the moment you cant add to it either.
1 ★What a great idea, just wish it was available all over the world like it promised.
