The Pathways and Bikeways mobile App is designed to provide you with a convenient way to navigate the pathway and on-street bikeway system. Whether for commuting or leisure, Calgary’s pathways and bikeways app will help you plan your next trip on our pathways and bikeways.

This app contains information on regional and local pathways; bikeways including cycle tracks, bike lanes, and shared lanes; and major routes including the Rotary/Mattamy Greenway, the Trans Canada Trail, Fish Creek Park, and the Western Irrigation District Canals. You will also find: Park ‘n’ Bike locations, Calgary Parking Authority monthly downtown bike parking, and aquatic and leisure centers. The app now includes real-time Pathway Closures and Detours, directly within the map.

3 ★Considering that it's free, the app is not as bad as some reviewers have suggested. It provides a decent layout of Calgary's pathway system. I'd give it five stars if the GPS tie-in worked so that you could actually see your position on the map. That would be very helpful. It can't be that difficult to fix this, can it?

2 ★Provides a map, but anything other than a street pathway is useless. You need to zoom in too far for a park pathway (like Confederation) and even then it doesn't always show up. Google maps is much more effective

2 ★This is a good app as a map, but the location option doesn't work, which unfortunately makes it pretty much useless.

1 ★Absolutely horrid. Last updated a year ago?! Google maps has more current route information and is easier to use. Uninstalling - again. (Have DL'd before, was hoping it'd improved: it hasn't.)

1 ★Terrible app. Might be useful if you added a feature to set a home base and map a route you plan to take. The graphics are also shoddy and hard to see. Back to the drawing board folks...or just scrap the app entirely.

2 ★Unable to move around maps basically useless as you would think one woulduse this when on paths and explore around

1 ★There's glitches everywhere. Instead of the icons associated with a feature it shows the text instead. The my location feature does not work. Didn't ask me for permission when loading or anything. It's good for looking at trails but the interface lags. I reload and the menu icon will double or triple over the text. Some features are not accessible and others prevent you from going back to the maps. It's a waste of time

While I am not surprised given that the city ofCalgary is run by entirely inept morons who are incapable of utilizing anysort of basic logic or foresight, this app is literally less than useless.It just gives a confusing overlayed map of the city that you can't see,giving no street names or distances or snything. Doesn't have updated pathclosures or anything that could be of any use. Literally opening Stravawill be much more help. This app is appallingly bad and provides absolutelyno form of useage whatsoever, especially given there are dozens of appsthat already do this better. Whoever made this app should not only beashamed, they should be barred from any form of Future app development.
