Description
PRODUK DAN LAYANAN UGM PRESSUGM Press merupakan Penerbit Perguruan Tinggi yang saat ini menjadi salah satu unit penunjang di Universitas Gadjah Mada. Sejak berdiri pada tahun 1971 UGM Press dikembangkan sebagai Unit Usaha Universitas Gadjah Mada. Untuk kepentingan pengembangan akademik, pendidikan, dan sosio-kultural sebagaimana diharapkan sejak berdirinya, maka terhitung mulai tahun 2013 UGM Press kemudian berubah statusnya dari unit usaha menjadi Unit Penunjang Universitas yang secara struktural berada di bawah Badan Penerbit dan Publikasi UGM.
Sebagai Unit Penunjang Universitas, UGM Press memiliki visi menjadi Penerbit Universitas berkelas dunia yang mandiri, berdedikasi, serta mengabdi kepada kepentingan dan kemakmuran bangsa, khususnya di bidang pendidikan.
Sesuai dengan misinya dalam menyediakan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan yang berkualitas dalam rangka menempatkan diri sebagai mitra terpercaya untuk mencerdaskan bangsa, UGM Press menghasilkan produk dan layanan yang meliputi :
A. PENERBITAN BUKU DAN KARYA ILMIAH
1. Penerbitan buku dengan standar Penerbit Perguruan Tinggi sesuai dengan peraturan Direktorat Jenderal Perguruan Tinggi maupun standar penerbitan buku pada umumnya. Ada dua jenis penerbitan buku yang dihasilkan oleh UGM Press, yaitu dalam bentuk fisik buku pada umumnya sebagai produk cetak offset dan dalam bentuk buku digital (Ebook).
2. Jurnal dan Publikasi Karya Ilmiah lainnya.
B. PERCETAKAN
Selain menerbitkan buku dan karya ilmiah, UGM Press juga memberikan layanan berbagai macam produk percetakan pada umumnya sesuai dengan permintaan. Sesuai dengan proses pekerjaan cetak, ada dua macam produk cetak yang dihasilkan, yaitu cetak offset dan cetak digital (digital printing).
