De Wolfskamerloop - 26 oktober 2014 te HuizenDe Lidl Wolfskamerloop maakt deel uit van de Top 10 Lopen Gooi, Vecht- en Eemstreek met veertien loopevenementen, waaronder acht Atletiekunie-wedstrijden. Uitgebreide informatie met o.a. de complete Top-Tien kalender 2014/2015 en de uitslagen van Top-Tien wedstrijden zijn te vinden op de Top Tien website www.toptienlopen.nl. De 10 km loop is tevens het clubkampioenschap voor de atletiekvereniging Veteranen Nederland (avVN) .
Naast de 10 km loop heeft de Wolfskamerloop ook een jeugdloop over 1,2 en 2,3 km en een 5 km loop. Het parcours loopt door het prachtige bos- en recreatiegebied van de Wolfskamer in Huizen en Naarden. Het parcours is voor het grootste deel vlak en volledig autovrij en leidt de lopers door het aangrenzende natuurgebied en langs het Gooimeer. Voor de jeugdlopen wordt een apart parcours uitgezet. De deelnemers aan de 10 km lopen het parcours van de 5 km twee keer met start / finish als keerpunt. Start en finish zijn op de Bestevaer in Huizen nabij de “Oude Haven”. Het parcours is met de auto goed bereikbaar; er is ruim voldoende (gratis) parkeergelegenheid.
