¿CUÁNDO Y DÓNDE?El Festival se realizará del 19 al 22 de enero de 2017 en Piedecuesta, Santander. Ubicada a 18 kilómetros de Bucaramanga, Piedecuesta cuenta con una tradición artística y musical vibrante, alimentada por numerosos personajes y proyectos que no han tenido la visibilidad acorde a su talento y potencial.
El Festival de la Tigra busca activar escenarios culturales como el centro cultural Daniel Mantilla Orbegozo, que cuenta con una plazoleta central y un auditorio recientemente adecuado, el parque principal del pueblo y la casa cultural Kussi Huayra. Durante 4 días, El Festival hará sentir que Piedecuesta Ruge.
¿QUÉ ES?
El Festival de La Tigra - Piedecuesta Ruge es una construcción colectiva orquestada por Edson Velandia, músico piedecuestano con gran trayectoria y reconocimiento en la escena musical nacional e internacional. Para la primera edición convocamos a músicos, gestores, investigadores y públicos con el ánimo de crear juntos, fortalecer vínculos y dinamizar el ecosistema de la música a nivel regional.
El festival propone una programación de conciertos a cargo de artistas y agrupaciones de Santander y algunos invitados nacionales de diferentes géneros y formatos. Como complemento a las presentaciones, se dispondrán espacios de intercambio y aprendizaje a través de una serie temática de talleres y mesas de trabajo sobre diversos aspectos de la industria musical, con el fin de propiciar encuentros y compartir herramientas que den mayor proyección y solidez a la escena local.
