Description

Bariatric Timer is an application for people who keep constant time intervals between their meals and drinks or want to keep track of their meals/drinks.
In particular, it is made for people who went through a bariatric surgery and keep a special diet.

The application features two main buttons:

"Drank" - starts a timer until eating is allowed. A local notification will be shot when the time's up.

"Ate" - starts a timer until drinking is allowed. A local notification will be shot when the time's up.
In addition, when the time's up, a second timer for the next meal will start, for which two notifications will later be shot. One is to remind you that you should eat soon (so you can drink) and the other when the time's up to remind you that you should eat.

All time intervals and notification messages can be changed in the 'settings' section.

It is also possible to change the date of an event by pressing the timer. That is in example, if you want to set the date to 3 minutes earlier than the date when the button was in fact clicked, hit the timer and adjust the date.

Finally, the application features a diary for keeping track creating and managing the events. A new event created through the diary will not add any new local notifications. local notifications are assosiated only with events created by the main buttons.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Why does the developer use a donut and a glass of wine as icons on an app that would be extremely helpful to a bariatric patient who cannot or should not eat those things? It would be like a give up smoking app showing someone enjoying a cigarette! very unhelpful to willpower. I would like to see this changed out of respect and support for weight loss patients. Thank you. UPDATE. I emailed the developer who was very understanding and has said they will update soon..FEB 2016 & THE DONUT IS STILL THERE!!
5 ★Very simple app. Works well. Great way to remind myself when I can drink/eat. My only question is..... why are you using a picture of a donut on the meal button? Seems cruel! lol. :-)
3 ★I like this app and this may sound like nitpicking, but for bariatric people having a donut as the icon to eat I think it's counterproductive. As a new bariatric patient, I would much rather see a healthy food, some type of protein.
3 ★This is a very archaic app. It gets the job done but it so boring and one dimensional. And the donut is just horrible! Cmon if you've had bariatric surgery there are no donuts in your life!
2 ★I had hoped this app would let me keep track of my water consumption, not show me a darn donut. Like that is some thing a bariatric patient needs or wants on an app! In installing.
3 ★The last thing a bariatric patient should be eating is a Donut.... Might want to rethink that. How about a steak or a broccoli tree?
3 ★Overall this is a decent simple app that does just what it's designed to, however the drinking after a meal timer needs to allow for users to set it to 60 minutes. Currently the maximum value is 45 minutes.
3 ★use an apple or something else besides a donut... not what wls people wanna see or need to see...
4 ★Would be perfect if it has medication reminder on it as well decent, simple app
5 ★Like it a lot!
2 ★I found this app very confusing. I finally figured out how to set the timers. Once you have the timers set, the first thing you do is hit your food timer. This inturn starts your drinking timer. For example my time for food is 2 hours, water 30 minutes after. So when i hit the food, the water time goes off 30 minutes later. The developer needs to replace the donut with something else (a shake example). Put instructions out how to fully use the app. Quite being like MS and have the users debug your work.
4 ★It really helps me out. I thought I was good, about 2 months post surgery and uninstalled it. Wrong its back installed probly forever!!! Thanks 👏👏
