How to install SecureWorld APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download SecureWorld APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.zerista.secureworld-v15.55.4-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). 2 ★So many problems. Wouldn't take my username password from their website, had to create a new one. Then the app told me it was updating, but kept getting stuck at 35% and 75%. That lasted for 8 hours. Now when I go into the conference link in the app, it goes through a bunch of setup questions, but gets stuck with exception saying cannot execute delete in a read only transaction. UPDATE: the next day it suddenly started working.
1 ★Edit: so it seems you'll get an email after registration (it took an hour or two for me to get) and that will give you a link to setup a login for the app. It would be nice if this was more easily accessible information. Installed the app and it opened without issue. BUT as others have posted I get stuck with a "email not found" message when logging in despite having just made my account and registering for the event already.
1 ★Installed this application three times after multiple resets. The app would not get past 35% load screen and would stall. I was not able to access this at all.

1 ★Horseshit. Open app and it's only a blank screen. Also an app for A SECURITY event that shows ads? Sounds like a great way to get infected.
5 ★I've used this feature-rich app at two Portland SecureWorld conferences, 2013 and 2014. It's networking features helped me find a new job in 2013. This year I contacted support with a suggestion to add camera support to allow pics of business cards, and a question, and they were immediately responsive, asking me clarifying questions and welcoming my suggestion. As a bonus, SecureWorld staff were available to provide local app support. I highly recommend this essential SecureWorld tool to every attendee.

1 ★Well I tried to install the app, it says it's installed but there's no sign of it on my device - no icon & nothing in the apps or notifications - went to the play store to try again but it says it's installed so I can't even get the blank screen others have seen - pretty pathetic for an IT show & hopefully not a precursor to the quality of the event itself
