The interface looks basic but at the same time it's very powerful, uncluttered and easy to use. Try the free version first, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

5 ★Checked out a number of audiobook players. This one is sweet, meets or surpasses all my needs in a player, most excellent app. Proud to pay for the full version, and thanks to the developers for a solid, easy-to-use book player. The equalizer is a nice touch, btw -- adjust vocal timbre to the mood and the story. Lot of apps on my phone that I rarely or never use. This one will stay quite busy.
5 ★The free version was so good, I bought it even though I didn't need the added functionality. WARNING! Make sure you do not delete it by accident as there is no way to get it back without buying it again!!! I did so by accident so the app cost me 2x. Edit: Not only did google see the mistake and remedy the situation, but the Devs reached out immediately to rectify the situation in case google had not done so. This is my personal audiobook player of choice for the remainder of its existence.
4 ★Very basic user interface (clue is in the name!), but honestly that bothers me only a little. what matters is that it works, well, and finally an audio player that allows bookmarking. I listed to a lot of audiobooks, some being 42 hours long. if unchaptered it is a real pain to fing my place again if I wish to listen to something else. For me well worth the price.
5 ★Perfect player. One thing that would be nice is a way to change white color to another softer color or contrast control for night time use.
5 ★Simple and fab. Have just paid for the full version, not because I needed to, but because I wanted to support the developers. The free version did everything I needed it to (and with no ads!) but went for the full version. Was having so much hassle listening to audio books with other players, but this just works.. What more can you ask for really? 👍😊

4 ★Perfect app to listen to audio books. Easy to navigate and control playback. Just one small bug - every once in a while, after stopping and starting playback using headphones control, audio gets all jaggery, requiring a restart of the app. Just with one specific pair of headphones, thought... I'd also wish that the play time progress would display on the lock screen. Everything else is working exactly as it ought.
5 ★Perfect, does exactly what it says on the tin. Absolutely no bloating. Upgrading from free version is a breeze, every setting and progression is remembered and free version will automatically uninstalls when you reopen it. Excellent additional features, like automatically going back a second or two when a notification plays. No advanced setup required. Didn't need the extra features of the paid version, I just use it so much and love it, the dev deserves at least the two bucks.
