Das FACHWÖRTERBUCH DRUCK & MEDIEN ist ein crossmediales Projekt der Fakultät Medien der HTWK Leipzig und dient Studierenden, Auszubildenden und allen Professionals in der Druck- und Medienbranche als ein übersichtliches Nachschlagewerk für die internationale Kommunikation. Zusätzlich zu den über 7.500 Fachbegriffen veranschaulichen mehrere Info-Grafiken die wichtigsten Schwerpunkte der einzelnen Themenbereiche.

Die Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig (Leipzig University of Applied Sciences) ist die größte Fachhochschule Sachsens mit über 6.500 Studenten. Das Fachwörterbuch ist ein Projekt des Studiengangs Buch- und Medienproduktion unter Beteiligung der Professoren und Mitarbeitern der Fakultät Medien, das bereits seit 2003 mehrere Print-Ausgaben erfolgreich herausgebracht hat.
