● OVERVIEW ● The London Underground application is a superb route planner for the London Underground (Tube)system with many unique features. The inbuilt map provides the official TFL map of the city underground services with the ability to switch to an online street map view when an internet connection is available. This way the user can view the online map feature when above ground and the transport map and route planning is still fully functional underground or anywhere there is no internet connection. This provides the best of both worlds, the transport map and route planning anytime, anywhere and online street maps and search when a connection is available.
● ROUTING ● Does not require an internet connection and will always be available to display a clear and detailed view of the city transport system, plus list and animate the optimum route for your journey. Provides the fastest route calculations of any mobile routing application (virtually instantaneous) using actual published journey times with the ability to select the quickest route or the route with the least changes.
Comprehensive details of your planned route are provided, including changes, directions of travel, number of stops, predicted journey times, etc. Uniquely this application gives you “direction”, “towards” and “service frequency” information (not available on any other offline journey planner) for example “Take the Northern line (Southbound) towards Stockwell for 10 mins (6 stops). Service runs every 7 minutes” which is essential when finding the correct platform and connection. Also given are alternatives for each leg of the journey.
● NO INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED ● The map and routing do not require an internet connection and therefore you will not be charged data connection fees. This also means the application runs perfectly underground, on an aeroplane, etc. For international visitors to a city who have data roaming turned off this is an ideal solution.

2 ★Used to be great, now I can't find departure boards

4 ★Use this whenever I'm in the Big Smoke. Very quick & easy to use, both as a general tube map & for planning routes. Loses a star for route planning not automatically taking closures into account (as the main London Transport app does). Otherwise perfect!
5 ★The app disappears everytime the phone is restarted and needs reinstalling. Tried to move it to SD but doesn't make any difference. Otherwise 5 stars. Update: recent update seems to have rectified this fault. 5 stars.
1 ★How hard is it to keep a simple map up to date!??! It's the main function of this paid-for App. The escalators at Embankment have been back in service for MONTHS; the Northern & Bakerloo lines stop here. FIX the map!!
4 ★1Feb'14 - despite update, problem with icons not visible in portrait mode still exists on GSII, even after reinstall. Only 2 icons are visible on menu bar in portrait mode on my Galaxy SII... all 4 are visible in landscape mode, which is therefore the only way to access route icon, despite description saying app works in both landscape & portrait mode. This layout issue needs fixing please, otherwise a great app.
3 ★This app is OK, but the routing options are a bit confusing. Mxdata tube map pro is a far better app for London Underground
3 ★jubilee line doesn't stop at Bond str until early December, not only the app doesn't know that, I couldn't find any way of selecting an alternative route so i used the app as a picture of the underground map.
2 ★Keeps crashing & shortcut disappearing. Have uninstalled/reinstalled several times now but keeps happening. Great App when it works.
4 ★Great app but i've got a bitter taste in my mouth after paying for the app and still finding adverts! Would have been 5 star otherwise.
5 ★I'm currently in London and this guide has allowed me to effortlessly navigate my way around the underground. Useful as it's offline too as there is no Internet reception whilst planning your next step.
5 ★App is very fast, reliable and works great offline. I especially like the ability to know which car on the train to get on... Saves a lot of time.
