About Electrist Electronics Calc APK
Table Of Contents
Description
This is the Android version of my original Palm OS app "Electrist". I am seeking to first duplicate all of the functionality from the original, then possibly further it. If you look at the screenshots of the calculator list you will see all of the original calculators included on Electrist for Palm. THE CALCULATORS MARKED WITH AN ASTERISK (*) ARE NOT CURRENTLY FUNCTIONAL && WILL NOT LET YOU RUN THEM. Calculators WITHOUT an asterisk are fully functional. For more information on the desired end result use the "Visit developer's web page" link in the "Developer Info" section at the bottom of the screen.I am releasing this software at this early stage and for that reason I am pricing it at a discounted level. As the functionality increases so will the price.
Electrist for Android already contains all of the functionality, in exactly the same format, as one of my other Android apps: "Ohm's Law" PLUS a number of other calculators. If you care to get a taste of Electrist's "look && feel" PLEASE test drive Ohm's Law before purchasing - use the "View more applications" link in the "Developer Info" section at the bottom of the screen.
Currently functional calculators:
Ohm's Law/Watt's Law
Resistors (3, 4, && 5 band, EIA value checking)

Voltage/Current Dividers
Reactance
Impedance
Resonant Frequency
Periodic Waves
Time Constant
*Conductor Size Selection (beta - expect errors)
3 Phase Power
Power Factor Correction

Questions & Answers
Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
