DriveDroid (Paid) APK Download for Android

This application requires root

DriveDroid allows you to boot your PC from ISO/IMG files stored on your phone. This is ideal for trying Linux distributions or always having a rescue-system on the go... without the need to burn different CDs or USB pendrives.

DriveDroid also includes a convenient download menu where you can download USB-images of a number of operating systems from your phone (like Mint, Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSUSE and Arch Linux). Around 35 different systems are available at this moment.

You can also create blank USB-images which allows you to have a blank USB-drive. From your PC you can store files onto the USB-drive, but also use tools on your PC to write images to the drive.

Notes
• This application uses features of the kernel that may or may not be available/stable on your phone. Tests have shown most phones work without problems, but please keep in mind yours might not (yet) work out-of-the-box.
• Most kernels support emulating USB drives, some support emulating CD-rom drives and kernels with the right patches support both.
• Most Linux-related ISOs can be booted from USB drives, but some ISOs can only be booted from CD-rom drives or require some kind of conversion.

How to install DriveDroid (Paid) APK on Android phone or tablet?

5 ★I was almost F-up the butt there for a bit until I found this app. I just started living with my grandparent because my parents sold the house and to buy a new one's. So everything I would have used to fix the missing boot file in windows was in storage lucky I found this and torrent an IMG recovery iso and now every thing is dandy and don't have to kill my self xp.

5 ★Carry all your bootable tools, like partitioning, memtest, linux and windows installers with you on one device. I just wish it was possible to copy files directly from the phone to the new img files (this is relevant for the ps4 update file). My first manual attempts with losetup failed unfortunately too.

5 ★Works exactly as described. Always used this on my last three Samsung smartphones in combination with cyanogenmod OS with no issues at all. Saved the day countless times now using this utility and can't imagine having a smartphone without this ability.

5 ★Having multiple IT certs involving networking and diagnostics, I have to say this app is baller status and makes me look like I'm legit doing sorcery with my clients machines. It's the bread and butter of the computer trade!!!!

4 ★One of the only downsides is switching through the setup wizard whether or not to mount as CD or USB. The other downside that is that its incompatible with USBC so make sure to have a C to USB adapter for it to work.

5 ★📱➡💻✔ This tool allowed me to run live Linux software on my unbootable computer using just my phone. I was then able to use my computer to burn disks, browse the web, use Gparted, even browse/edit my harddisk which has the corrupted boot files, and much more. I plan on burning a Windows iso soon to repair or reinstall. This is a must need app! 😄 Update: IT WORKED!! I have my PC back!!😂

5 ★Installed the free version many years ago, and after a couple uses bought the paid. Easily one of the best apps I've ever spent money on, and one of the first installs on new devices. App has truly been a lifesaver! As great as the basic USB type mounting of Linux images is, it's having a kernel that supports booting CD-ROM emulation that makes this app truly amazing, and one of the best tech tools I have at my disposal. You can boot a much wider range of images with it, including Windows images. Thx, dev!

5 ★Honestly I cant begin to thank you enough for this app. Its ones like these that keep people downloading app after crapp looking for that gem. This app has allowed me and continues to allow me dive into my interest into gravitating away from ms and towards Linux based systems I had always been curious about. With your app I could take advantage of the few times I was around WiFi or something like that to the point I was eventually able to barely move out of the clueless stage. Thanks a ton guys !

1 ★Theres is a nasty bug on marshmellow which it does is when you download an iso it opens to stock file manager and it completes the download but its not completes. And drivedroid always says aquireing root every single time when i back out any of the menus. I WANT MY MONEY BACK
