Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★In KitKat this worked wonderfully, my 256GB drive and I had a blast with it. In Marshmallow nothing, it sees the drive, attempts to mount but it can't. Isn't there a way to break/skip/disable Android's moronic storage restrictions? I don't care about this "security". First, I am my own security, I don't need anyone telling me what I can or can't do. Second, a "security" that breaks functionality is useless for me. Third, even if the drive or the phone blows to smithereens I'd be insane if I had an only copy of my files in a portable storage. With that said, is it that you technically can't do anything (we're rooted after all) or you just aren't willing to bypass Google? You could put a big red warning about it and the user takes all responsibility. Whichever it is I respect your decision, I'm just asking. I still rated 5 because as I said, in KitKat it worked perfectly and I hope some day I can use it again in MM. It's just the system's limitations. If this was Windows I'd bet there would be a security policy or registry edit to remove them (something similar in Android that doesn't involve installing custom roms would be really cool)
