Description

Load your own shapefiles with this Geographic Information System (GIS) directly from the sdcard of your mobile device and visualize them over a map. You can also edit the values of its dbf table and use it in offline mode, loading maps from your memory card.

With this GIS application, you can select and load a shp file or load an entire folder automatically.
You can select one of these shp files and mark it as the active layer and if you use a long press over one of them you can change its coordinate system, its color or make it invisible.
The map will display a series of icons, belonging to each of the records in the active layer, which when pressed will allow you to view and edit information from its corresponding attribute table.

The application also allows you to view your current position via GPS and center the map on it.
You can choose between several online map servers.

The .prj file is readed and the coordinate system is automatically assigned.
Now you can save your sessions (a configured shapefile list).

To use a map in offline mode, simply download it previously (for example using Mobile Atlas Creator (using OsmAnd tile storage format)). You must copy the map to the folder you have set on settings and it should be in the format MAPNAME/ZOOM/X/Y.png.tile

5 ★Layered, partially transparent shapefiles with read/write access to the associated databases. Choice of basemap providers and the ability to load saved map tiles for offline use. Simple to use but extremely functional. Definitely try this... the developer is active and even promptly answered questions when I was a "demo" user. If your shapefile doesn't load or you can't access data... it's probably too large for the limited memory of your device. I pared down my files using GDAL and now everthing works just fine. Thanks for the great app at an extremely reasonable price.

4 ★Labels vanish after autorotation. Some buttons disappear as well sometimes. Label configuration would be great.

5 ★I really love this app. It allows me to evaluate shape files on my phone or tablet while on the train. You know what would really add value: if you could change an entire group's visibility by long clicking on groups... Thankyou for implementing the per-group visibility feature. Love the aop

3 ★Does most of the operations as I would expect, the ID feature does not respond very well all the time. Labels would be nice, would like to see a State Plane projection option. But it is easy to load and display the shapfiles once converted to Geo projection. Please add Google Terrain base layer option.

2 ★Would consider this very much alpha. Tried to use in field to update attributes, frustrating touch controls to highlight feature and access table. Useful in theory, why I bought it, but the UX needs work for actual field use. Went in loop, zooming out to world view in steps. Need to think of purchase as a contribution to further work.

3 ★Try to use it in fieldwork for updates of my work. Would be great to have a option to add a new field to the database. Also is necesary to have more zoom in (5m) and a button to change the data of a map. My items are not very far from each other, so with this baloons symbols and the higher zoom its impossible to select most of them, and finally I have to use paper again. Good for showing and with a good idea but at the moment to far from beeig very useful.

2 ★1.pop up attribute table when tabbing on shp object instead of yellow baloons.because i can't see anything on map when the baloons display. 2.sometimes i need to display my shp data without any basemap. a null (no server) server shoul be added to the map server list.3.user should be able to define solid color, transparency and outline color of polygon data independently. And need thematic display.4.i need to label features choosing a field from attribute table.5.send shape data to ftp server or email it.
