How to install DJI Mimo APK on Android phone or tablet?

2 ★While the hardwares are great, the app needs a lot more attention. It seems the developers are focusing on providing features that no one needs, rather than basic features that everyone needs. For example, people using a gimbal for shooting videos will hardly edit them in a phone app. On the other hand, there are features that are really needed like - exposure lock - 120fps I use other DJI apps like DJI fly which is built way better than mimo.
2 ★As mentioned by many other users, the camera settings are missing. It basicly downgrades the camera. The zoombuttons are really crappy, very shacky, can't create a smooth zoom. Why does this app needs my location? Remove that feature ASAP! 4k recording is gone. Dyna-zoom is nice but works poorly, you can see the zoom steps, it's not smooth. And auto follow is constant losing its target. And slowmo is gone.
1 ★This is basically an iPhone app as a tonne of functions you get on iPhones are not on android. I wish this could be sorted because not everyone uses iPhone.
2 ★The app is not good for android. I have a s20 plus.and the 4 gimbal. Can't record in 60fps for android users. No slow motion for android. Audio is out of sync on recordings(not all the time ). The features is has look great but locks android users but it has full working features for iPhone .
1 ★My galaxy note 10+ records videos in mimo app to 20 21 or 22 fps when it is selected 30 fps, all very random. I reported and provide all material to fix it and still nothing. I cannot use the Gimbal unless I use the native app and lose all new capabilities like tracking. Time-lapses are also not working great
2 ★The device, hardware, is fairly well made and high quality. I am using om4. The app,on the other hand, is not good and even using one of the fastest CPU of the most recent Samsung phone, mostly found it hard to follow the moving object properly if not losing it. Also, not being able to record in slow-motion or higher than 30fps is another major drawback. Basically, i would consider buying another device if i knew these prior.
1 ★I just ordered the DJI Osmo Pocket. I charged and activated the device so why is there a lag between the movement of the camera and what I see on the screen of my phone. If that's not bad enough after just a few moments of lag the screen freezes completely. This makes my new purchase practically unusable as I bought the wireless module because I can't use cables. This product has been out for 2 years now. There is no excuse for this poor performance. I'd give 0 stars but I can't. C'mon DJI !
1 ★Bad experience using dji om4. Most of the time the phone out of calibration . Quality of video and photo after using app is degraded. The stability is also not that great and it take a whole lot of time to click 1 picture and then next atleast 3 to 4 sec. So most shot get spoiled by then. Have used osmo mobile 2 it was much better than this.
3 ★"Exit without saving" doesn't mean return to previous save. Overall the app works well when shooting with the om 4, I captured a lot of cool videos that weren't previously possible. The editing part of the app isn't bad, a little limited but it gets the job done. What peeves me is the "save & exit" and "exit without saving" buttons are right next to each other, and choosing the latter option deletes your project all together. This is dangerous, please change it! I'll be using Adobe 4 edits
1 ★DJi are bias towards the small 25% market share apple has, and the 75% Android market gets left with scraps. You will find this app does not support slow motion and probably your higher level camera settings. The DJi forums are full of posts claiming they are returning their gimbal to the supplier as the performance of this app is unacceptable. Others are looking at 3rd party solutions, but either way you still cannot get close to the level of use iPhone users get. DJi need to wake up and smell the coffee, that they should be offering the same level of support to the 75% of people who paid the same money as the other 25%,for their gimbal, but get nowhere near the same level of attention from their developers.
1 ★*edit Sep 13* After using the app and experiencing its many bugs and lack of support for Android this gets 1 star (5 initially). I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and hold out for an update but if you're an Android user, steer clear the hell away from anything made by DJI. It's apparent they were developed almost exclusively for Apple/iPhone and Android devices were an afterthought.
1 ★I have never found an app to be more un-user friendly than this one. It is missing so many basic features and easy setting controls that should be built in like changing where files are saved automatically or stopping the app from scanning every folder that has a photo or video in it. Unfortunately because I bought the gimbal I am stuck using this app as it will not work without the app. So I guess that's why they made a s***** app because you have no other choice but to use it.
