1 ★The only way for it to connect is to disable your mobile data which isridiculous. There is no way it should be over two months since the lastupdate and that hasn't been fixed yet. The camera is nice but the appdevelopers team all need to be fired and or jailed. One bright spot is thattheir customer service responds quickly and tries to help. It wasn't untilmy eighth email they told me to disable mobile data though.
2 ★i cant download photos and videos from the cam anymore. . download bar is not filling from download management... but can connect good to the cam even viewing camera shot.. it just dont download pics amd vids anymore to my phone. using xiaomi mi6 oreo updated and yi international v1.
4 ★The stuff you can do with the app is great. However, there are a few small complaints. 1) I have to turn off mobile data if I'm trying to connect to a second time 2) I wish the app could save your camera and automatically reconnect. Would like to see changes in the future
1 ★it was working quite fine, until Oreo comes. Now it won't connect to cam, I thought it's the problem of cam so I have reset to factory default. Please update. Tried uninstall-reinstall, reset cam, didn't work. Check with my pad on kitkat, it works, not working with my Oreo phone (MiA1)
3 ★2018 update: Wi-Fi connectivity is STILL a MAJOR issue, this time it's theapp - need the turn off mobile data to get the phone connecting to thecamera. It would be SO much better if the camera could connect to the phonehotspot, rather than the other way around. Also then multi camera controlwould be possible, and many other potentially cool functions. Bluetoothoption would be good alternative to have, especially when Wi-Fi isn'tbehaving.
1 ★Have updated the app but still cant see a live view from my action camera and app still feels buggy when you click on a button takes about 1 minute for it to process the click and open, from lg g6 with yi 4k+

2 ★Cannot connect to my Yi Action Camera at all! Using Android 8.0 at my Nokia 8. Questions submitted to customer service but with no response. I bought my Yi camera but now it is useless cos it doesn't pair with my phone!!!
2 ★Every time I want to connect my camera to my phone via WiFi, I have totemporarily disable mobile data on my Pixel in order to connect to my YiAction Camera's WiFi. Completely unintuitive and extremely annoying.
4 ★I was unable to connect to app. Contacted customer service and they advised to turn off mobile data to connect to the app. I was able to connect after turning off mobile data. I would like to not have to do that to connect.
1 ★Every single time when I turn off and turn back on the camera, it doesn'tconnect to the WiFi that I've saved. I have to forget the WiFi on my phonefirst then reconnect again as if it's the first time. I thought it was theproblem of the camera so I've changed the device, but the issue remains thesame. It's a waste of time and the app is flawed. From Google pixel XL phone
2 ★I have a Google pixel 2 running Android 8.1.0. the action cam will notconnect. It finds the camera but does not connect. I have tried otherphones and it is ok, it just has issues with my pixel 2. I have uninstalledand reinstalled, forgot the network and reconnected, but still no luck!
