5 ★My phone would be obsolete without it. The pay version is the only way to go, because the free version doesn't do much. My phone is 4 years old now, and only has 16gb of storage, which fills up weekly from app caches. So I use this to clear everything out and I get back about 2gb each time. My RAM also bogs sometimes and I run the Sleep Mode process to kill unused background processes, speeding my phone back up.
3 ★This app used to be great, easy to use, worked fast, clarity about what it was doing. Recent updates have *clearly* prioritized making money off either ada or subscription over performance. I signed up the the 1 yr sub when it was on sale thinking it was a fair price for the utility I used to get from the app but performance is still giving me issues being able to use all the features. And its still trying to get me to upgrade to the next tier. I'll probably be ditching this soon.
1 ★Like most awesome free apps, the good features are eventually moved to the paid version. Started out equally as impressed with the Android app as with all the Priform PC apps; the control it gave you to keep closed apps until you want them to open; and the depth of the cleaning features. The latest update now makes everything 'automated' but you have no idea what it is actually doing with 'one button', while pushing paid versions to get back the control the free version used to give.
1 ★This used to be a good program. Then they took everything they looped you in with on the free version and made it pay like the hidden cache cleaner. I switched to 1tap, because it's still free for the hidden cache cleaner, and it actually cleans better. It also has waaaaay fewer pop up ads. I was a cleaner fan for years. Now they are just obsolete. It's not user friendly either since they changed it. I don't want to have to tell an app 3 times to start cleaning. Stop wasting my damn time.
2 ★Awful. The ads are intolerable and I'm not the kind of person to get too bothered by ads. Every action triggers an ad sequence of an unskippable video with bad acting, an unskippable demo video, and a hyperlink page. Closing each part is manual, but "missing" thex and being taken out of the app is unavoidable. It's like the x doesn't line up with the trigger to close it. The only thing done well was the ability to optimize old photos to take up less space.
1 ★I used this app on pc and it worked fine, so I thought the mobile version would be good. I was wrong, it's not good at all, it takes hours to finish a scan(IF it finishes at all) and when it does and I try to see results, it restarts the scanning process without letting me clear anything. It's less hassle to go through my apps individually and clear the cache myself. This is actually one of the worst cleaning apps I've had, no way I want the paid version when the free intro is trash.
1 ★I have used CCleaner before and have been happy with it. This time however it sucked up all of my battery power with its constant running, it did not take out the pop-up ads that I hoped it would take out, and generally it just took up lots of memory and space. I was able to have about 75% battery life at the end of the day and once I installed this I had to go into emergency battery zone by 10 p.m. I am very disappointed
5 ★I usually download cleaning apps and then uninstall them because they are full of advertisements and I can't tell much difference in my phone. This is the only one I've actually kept. It keeps up with the apps that are unnecessary running all the time and periodically alerts me and gives me the option to allow the app to shut them down with one click.
1 ★I love this app. You guys completely ruined it. You've dummed it down like those other quick systems. On the old one I discovered I wasn't selecting "systems" in the apps section. Once I started using that too it made it even better on my phones. I loved that if you selected three dots on the top right, and hit select all then hibernate all it would automatically shut down all apps and systems that you didn't want running. Now they have to be stopped have one at a time.
3 ★It's pretty decent. Wish one could clear app cache in a mere second instead and have no wait time > You can't do anything else while it's in process and it tediously goes one by one, through several apps as it clears each app's cache, and that can take 15/30/45 sec./a minute or more, depending on how many apps need to be cleared. If only the version of Android I have had an option to clear cache all at once, I wouldn't even need CCleaner to do that, but it seemingly doesn't. :/
1 ★9/23/22 Update: Omg, we're back to the ads and they are more annoying than before. I understand the monetization, but why ads that run 5 minutes or more with no way to back out? Update: The videos have stopped and this is back to a great app. Great app, but I uninstalled after the video ads began a few months ago. If that is eliminated, I would use again. My phone & tablet always runs better after running this cleaner app.
4 ★I've trusted CCLEANER FOR MANY YEARS ON MY PC. I'm finding that the app is also pretty good too. I may Upgrade to lose the ads. I do wished it would show the Android Trash Bin.. I'm not sure if it's getting cleaned or not. Deleted photos, I'm told, are still resident with just a name change causing them not to show. That could occupy a lot of memory. I'd love to see an icon for the trash bin and it's contents before and after a cleaning.
