1 ★You now have a bug in the permission to work section which means that if you click unable to work in the EU it gets dumped in the unable to work in the UK too. Also seems to allow sexism in the way the app asks questions. Also found that my applications got dumped because of the form fields being wrong. Also the app stopped working. I had to clear local cache and all data before it would start.
1 ★No way to sort by distance, find local job adverts, the search actually has very little options to complete an actual search , of very little use to anybody who wants to complete specific job searches , and pretty much shows everything 30+ miles away from where you're actually searching , horrible compared to when I last used , why change/fix something that works only to make it unusable if you want anything relevant?
4 ★It fails to complete some job applications then they stay on the app as incomplete and you get loads of emails telling you that you need to finish an application. Very annoying. You should be able to cancel or select completed. Also the filters should be more realistic, ie annual salary should be in 5k increments not 10k as get too many jobs that don't pay enough.
5 ★The best job application website out there in my opinion, Easy to use,Browse through jobs at your leisure and mostly all easy to apply with one click. Sometimes it throws a spanner in the works with outdated links to jobs but mostly all redirect to correct website. What I like the most is the fact you can apply for a job and stay where you left off no going through to your position again. Fantastic 5☆
1 ★Just don't bother - totally pointless!! Unless you are looking for a job at the other end of the country to where you live.
3 ★Good app, but search engine could be more accurate
1 ★Wasn't expecting much, I would say 95% of the results that come back from the web site and that I receive through email from Totaljobs are not what I've asked for. Put the job I want & the area into the apps search engine, returns 83 results. Problem is, only 9 of them are for the type of work I'm after, the rest are for all types of other jobs. Even some of the 9 jobs that meet the description are outside the area I want. Will be stopping their emails & removing app. Improve search engine!
2 ★I tried to apply for a job from your mail alerts it takes me to your app then it's says we are unable to load the job. If you send a mail with job alert and in 2 minutes the job vanished from your site . This has happened multiple times. Please fix this as it causes unnecessary annoyance.
2 ★Unlike indeed job app. Total jobs does not let you delete job adverts that dont apply to you. So you have to scroll through 100's of job ads everytime.On indeed if you dont like an ad, touch the delete button and you don't see the job advertised again. No need to wade through 100's of jobs everytime you log on.
1 ★This app is not user friendly at all. Theres no set up steps to show you where anything is located and how to upload your CV. I've clicked every possible button on the app and none give you the option to upload your CV. Tried to do this part on the direct website instead but their website is down and unable to update detail changes.
1 ★A lot of jobs are not on the company websites, no option to do live chat, just a form to fill in, job notifications for completely different counties. Will not reset forgotten password had to remake an account with another email address. Not really fit for purpose. Always losing Internet connection even though WiFi is extremely strong.
1 ★Trying to apply for jobs is like pulling teeth. I've seen a job I like the look of a few times and whenever I've tried to apply I'm unable to download my CV or if I click on apply nothing happens. I've spoken to customer service and it's always the same empty your cache and cookies etc. I do all of that and still nothing works. I've even now got a new phone and still the same issue its rubbish. Absolutely fuming
