2 ★Really had a lot of issues with the app, continuing to tell me to set up a new account, or asking me to rate the app when I had already rated it, doesn't update my electricity balance, Really annoying having to input everything each time I load up the app ,British gas a a brilliant supplier never had any issues and always brilliant customer service, just the app is a bit naff at the moment
1 ★What is the problem BGas? Why can't you manage to get this right??? I've not been able to even sign in for the last 5 days. I love it that I can see my daily usage.....but most days I can't sign in! This will be a key thing to me when my present contract finishes in October. Stressful. I don't need it. Who'd u suggest I swap to for a better experience???
1 ★I don't use the app often but every time I go back to it I have to re-enter my credentials, it's takes about 10 attempts to actually authenticate and then when I drop out of the app and back in it fails to log me in again. I then have to fully delete the app from my phone, redownload it, and log in again. The website claims "it's easier with the app" but nothing could be farther from the truth.
1 ★The app is terrible it no longer works it was hit and miss last time whether it worked or not. The balances on the app when it was working do not reflect what it says in the meter. The app needs to be sorted so that it actually works like so many others if there was a chance to give 0 stars I would.
1 ★This app is totally useless.been trying log on for 2 days and no luck. The app gets updated but each time it gets worse. I changed to British gas pay as you go smart meter customer for the ease of topping up using my phone but because of the useless app not logging in I've now got to run around trying find a shop to put credit on. I'm definitely going to be looking into changing my supplier very soon
1 ★7/2/20 App freezes and kicks us out everytime we try to top up - u advise to contact via web chat/ Twitter we do and get told it's our problem not yours. 28/12/20 still freezes, doesn't show true balance despite smart meters, topping up is painfull and takes forever to log in. Set pin. use pin."We had to lock your account". Log in via email, reset and log back in. "We had to lock your account" why?? vulnerable household trying to top up meter and keep newborn baby warm. 21/6/21 still issues
1 ★Samsung S20. Still as bad as ever. Never loads properly so I end up going to site. It tells me it's easier to use the app. Ha ye, if only. I've had this trouble for ages, even with my old phone a year ago and it's still no better. Its about time it was sorted, it's such a pain
2 ★After last update , Fails to keep login data. 404 page ( page not found) redirects when attempting to reset. For a company this size, tech problems shouldn't be a barrier to paying for gas and electricity. Shoddy When it works it's good. But this past update is absolutely Spaulding technical work. Gret it fixed.
1 ★Worst app in app store, It's bad enough it costs more to use meters, you have to log in every time after an update, now it says I have to put in my 3 digit code on the back of my card on every f-in top up!!!!, if I didn't like my phone so much I would throw it against a wall cos of this damn buggy app, need to sack the micky mouse I.T. Department, i could do better. I'VE NEARLY RUN OUT OF Electric, had to delete data and log in again for app to work
1 ★Doesn't work anymore some type of glitch on BG end it says. Never really been a fully functional app but now not working at all. This app is equal to the quality of service I get from British gas though to be fair, so I didnt really expect any more then what I got. There is nothing british about this company except the name
1 ★Completely useless - sequence displayed is Welcome, contacting server, loading your details, setting up profile, not long now (ha ha), sorry it's a bit slow...............Sorry something went wrong. Please tap below to try again - repeat, repeat, but why bother!! Been like this for the last couple of days.
