التوبة وشروطها وممن تقبل ومتي؟إنَّ الله عزَّ وجل خلق الإنسان وفطره على الإيمان ومنحه من السمع والبصر والعقل ما ميَّزه به عن سائر الحيوان، ولم يجعله معصومًا عن الزَّلل والخطأ والعصيان، بل ابتلاه بما قد يُوقعه في المخالفة والعصيان: من النفس الأمَّارة بالسوء والهوى، ومكائد الشيطان؛ لهذا فتح له باب التوبة لتمحيص الذنوب والآثام، فقال عزَّ وجل:
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ * وَأَنِيبُوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا لَهُ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَكُمُ الْعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنْصَرُونَ،
وقال عزَّ وجل: "وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِمَنْ تَابَ وَآَمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَى * وَمَا أَعْجَلَكَ عَنْ قَوْمِكَ يَا مُوسَى.
«يبسط الله يده بالنهار ليتوب مُسيء الليل، ويبسط يده بالليل ليتوب مُسيء النهار»، يُوفِّق عبده للتوبة ويقبلها منه

"ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَتُوبُوا" أي: وفَّقهم للتوبة ليتوبوا..
