Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Product no longer supported nor will it function in the very near future.. Purchased multiple dehumidifiers specifically for the features the app provided.. Cloud based product, do not understand why they can not modify the app to process locally..!
4 ★EDIT: I'm updating my review because the app is working fine for me again. It turned out santa-fe had a server outage for a few days, and that's what caused the app to say there was no connection. They emailed me and let me know what happened, and it's been working fine since then. Original: very disappointed that I just purchased the corresponding Santa Fe Advance 100 dehumidifier, only to see this app is dead...Stopped working for me after 2nd day while Connect unit still has fine connection (breathing turquoise). App hasn't been updated since jan 2019, and the Connect and the Advance 100 dehumidifier are both missing from Santa Fe's website and their support documents are even deleted. I have a sinking feeling I've purchased a product that they have abandoned.
2 ★While I appreciate that Santa Fe came out with an innovative dehumidifier monitoring solution for my Advance100, this app has numerous bugs that needs to be addressed. 1. Text layout/Display bug on home screen: Where it says "Humidity Set Point" the work Humidity has been split into two lines and looks super weird. 2. When going into "History" tab, the app will always display the "Navigation Tips" regardless if you have hit "Dismiss" or "Don't show again", if you hit "Don't Show Again" the next time you enter history tab, it will still display this very annoying "Navagation Tips" 3. In History tab, if you hit "Week" or "Month", and then hit "Day", the screen will not correctly display your currently daily history and will just display a blank screen, you have to manually scroll back 2 days in order to see your current history, very annoying. 4. There is a bug naming the unit in "Details" page. If I hit "Unit Name" and start typing a custom name for my dehumidifier, then hit "hide keyboard" button on my android, the page would disappear and the app jumps to "System" page and reverts back to the original name before I renamed my unit. Wishlist: Please make the schedule of the dehumidifier fully programmable, because my electricity rate is much lower in the evening and before morning times, I would like to schedule for my dehumidifier to only run at night, currently there is no scheduling capability within the app besides a simple "sleep" timer to turn the unit off for max of 4 hours... That's not enough to make this unit "Smart" I hope the developer can see these bugs and wishlist and make necessary fix to them.
2 ★this app just needs some work, most the information is displayed, just not displayed well enough for easy viewing. on mine there are statements actually posted on top of other statements. makes it very hard to read. graphs not showing the times. ect ect. nothing a large update can't fix.
4 ★downloaded to test out the app before deciding whether this seems like a feature worth paying for when comparing a couple of dehumidifiers. the app requires location access for your phone, and gives no justification why it needs that information (subtracted a star). looking forward to more reviews from other users. I'll give a full review if i decide to purchase this dehumidifier.
4 ★Nice app once I got it working. Could not configure my Santa Fe Advanced 100 Dehumidifier with my Galaxy Note 9. It would get to the part where you connect to the dehumidifier's internal WiFi, but it would never let me past that point once connected. I used my older Note 8 and it configured just fine, so obviously it's not compatible with the latest Note 9 for some reason. (minus one star!) Features and functions of the app are adequate, response is quick. I can't really think of any additional capabilities I would like to see in the app. The humidity trend is really a nice feature!
