・Tipping Feature

3 ★If I have called a cab and can't run to a car in time, why not contact me? Why is the order canceled when I already come to the car? Can't the service be thought out for the convenience of the customers? Or only drivers are important?
2 ★Great when it works. I've had 4 taxis assigned and cancelled within seconds. Can't count on this app.
1 ★Still unable to register foreign mobile number, even though it's supposed to work now. How can this be resolved?
2 ★I upgraded from Japan Taxi because the developer stopped supporting it. I find "Go" to be a disappointment. It doesn't work in English like the old app did. It also failed to import my favorite places, requiring me to enter everything. Lastly, it rejects my old payment method of using Google Pay, requiring me to go find my credit card. This level of service has taken me back to the days of hailing cabs from the sidewalk and paying with cash. I'm decidedly giving up my gold member status.
4 ★A must-have if you live in Japan. The interface and availability of taxis is great. However, I cannot recommend it to tourists because the English version is no good and you need a Japanese phone number (you can't use it with a data-only SIM or portable WiFi router)
4 ★App itself works fine and does it's job. It's only in Japanese as of now. If you have trouble with japanese you can set your route in Google maps. The only problem is the price, you get automatically charged an extra 500 yen or so just for using the app which you wouldn't have to pay if you flagged one down in the street. Also the "estimated" rates listed on Google maps are usually 500 - 1000 yen lower than what they actually charge. Overall I'd only use this app when you have no other options.
2 ★Only local Japanese numbers accepted for registration. Very tourist friendly, isn't it!
1 ★From USA. I bought an eSim service from holafly (any short term eSim) which doesn't support voice service here in Japan. This app requires SMS service to communicate with a customer, I can't even register to use it. Since you can't get voice service in Japan, this app is useless for any short term travelers.
1 ★Can't register with foreign number
1 ★I have a Japanese number, but only foreign credit card, which the app will not accept. This makes no sense. I live here but still waiting for my bank account. How do ANY tourists use this regardless of the phone number? A tourist SIM is relatively easy, a Japanese card not much. I lived in Cambodia for 10 years, that little country has all this figured out much better than Japan.
1 ★This does not allow me to book a taxi in the morning. Useless. I tried this a few different occasions, but in vain. The app always say "the reservation is full", which is apparently not true. There are always so many taxis driiving around empty.
4 ★Very easy to navigate with proper English menu, and beautiful animations. The app is not 100% translated to English that's why I'm giving it 4 stars, but considering the main functionalities of it, I have no complaints.
