Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★I tried a less expensive, multi-function device to measure and record my blood oxygen levels. Constant drops and confusing instructions were a constant hassle so I returned it and bought a ViHealth. I charged the battery, strapped it on ...it worked the first time. I'm still learning the finer points, but it tells me what I need to know, and alerts me to low O2 so I can slow down.
2 ★Confusing interface. Doesn't show duration for each entry. Have to go into each, one at a time, and view the graphs to try to figure it out. To zoom in, you have to go into a special mode and it's hard to control. Hard to figure out how to get the ring to upload to the phone. It works for me, but i have to fiddle with it every time. Lacks output features. Reports are barely readable and are low resolution. No option to upload to a website service to automatically keep track of my data.
3 ★Good features, but poor implementation. If the app gets backgrounded, it doesn't save the data. If the pulse ox batteries die, it doesn't save the data. If you take off the pulse ox, it won't reconnect without an app restart. It would also be nice to have access to the raw numbers on the rare occasion that it does save the data, not just the graph, but that is more of a feature request, not a bug.
2 ★Had the device (o2 ring) and the app for a few days. The phone app is very buggy (locks up when reloading) and today it won't upload last night's data. The data is there, because I was able to connect it to a PC via cable and get it that way. But I prefer the convenience of Bluetooth to my phone. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that didn't work.
1 ★I like the ring, but the software is terrible. It has very limited functionality. Even with paid backup, you can't sync across devices. I use the computer primarily to capture records as the phone screen is too small, and the only way to sync to the phone is to uninstall and reinstall the app, and even then it only syncs some of the records. The time on the device also changed for no reason from day to day and the only way to reset is to pair with the phone. Support is only available during working hours in China - which is to say, half a day later. They really need to work on this software and the backup especially to bring it up to par.
2 ★App randomly closes if it is not kept in foreground. It states that device is not connected and the app loses all data from the current logging session. This sucks when it has recorded all night only to lose all data from that session. I did notice this more prevalent when trying to reopen the app from a shortcut as opposed to from the recent apps menu. Seems slightly better if you lock the app to keep it from closing but not full-proof. DEVS ::PLEASE HELP:: exporting via CSV would be NICE!
1 ★Has Worked right since last update. It stalls on opening and takes forever to open. I have to make sure the ring is completely asleep in order for that to happen. Then rewake the ring for any hope of data transfer. Then I have to close the app before the transfer symbol will close on the ring and fall back asleep. I also prefer the old trend data layout. It was much easier to see the changes over time as I become more fit and lose weight.
1 ★I've been using it for several years. and now it crashes each time I reload the app. I've been trying to get it to work on my phone and It's crashed over a dozen times. It won't load the history files. When you restart the app it freezes trying to load the history files. I'm looking at getting a different unit and app for heart rate and blood pressure.
1 ★Latest update of the app made absolutely every single aspect of it worse. It is slow, unresponsive, takes a minute to connect to the device EVERY time you open the app. Now it also REQUIRES internet connection to even open. I lost every note on the recordings I had on the phone, some recording I had deleted popped up again, and any recording longer than a couple minutes takes about 5 minutes to even open. Please revert this app to its old state or at least provide the old APK to sideload it.
1 ★The app worked well until version 2.63. I updated to 2.68 and then 2.69 and both introduced a major bug making the app mostly useless for me: when you zoom in on a graph, the time scale at the bottom is not updated anymore! I have tried on 2 Android device and I see the same behavior. There is no indication of the time span of what you are looking at. Note also that the font showing time is now smaller, making it hard to read (anyway, the numbers are useless since they do not adapt to the zoom). I will revise my rating once this is fixed.
1 ★Prior to latest update I was very satisfied with the device and app. However, when I updated to latest app very it failed to import all of the notes I have been logging for the past 3 months. Hopefully they are not lost. Also, there is some issue with my O2 level data. Many old entries shown %'s greater than 100, some as high as 250, so obviously someone messed up the calculations in the new version.
1 ★I saw there was an update and I was hoping it would fix the ongoing problem of not connecting and crashing. I updated the app and tried to open it. It no longer crashes, but now won't open at all. It has made my blood pressure monitor with ECG basically worthless because I can't share the much needed information with my cardiologist. This was an amazing app until the last update. Now it crashes before ever opening. And every review I've left about this has been deleted!!!
