3 ★This app is great and all but there are a few road blocks here. While I;m writing a story it will randomly kick me out of there and take me back to the story workshop without saving. Secondly, I hate that there is a limit on how many stories you have and you have to watch an ad. I'd rather just do random pop up ads rarely. Sometimes when I do watch an ad, and i try writing it, it will still say I have to watch an ad. Please fix these errors or I'm uninstalling.
4 ★I really love this app. I only have a couple minor problems with it. It Refers to all characters as "he" In questions, the questions are a little wordy so you cant always be sure what you are supposed to be answering. And my weekly writing prompts dont change, I'm not sure if they're supposed to or not. But overall one of my favourite apps. It helps you add depth to your characters and plan them out amazingly. Helps you fit your story together like puzzle pieces. I recommend this to all writers!
4 ★It's a good app, and gets done what it needs to, but when you write about the character and put it all together, it sounds like how teachers expect you to write in a 3000 word essay. For example; one option is to tell about something that happened in the characters childhood, and it over words it a bit. "About his childhood we know that he". (No comma :( )
5 ★Honestly, it's great. Really helpful in character building. The only thing I could recommend is make it more accessible for stories set earlier in history. Dress Shop, one of my works, is the sixteen hundreds and the timeline doesn't acknowledge the existence of anything before the nineteen hundreds. That and the fact that even though I set the character to transgender female, it refers to them as male. I'm not sure for the other way around.
3 ★Its a good app and it has helped me with writing. Though one of my concerns were with the challenges, as when I would answer the question for it. It seems as the question would completely change, and what I answered with not making any sense. Besides that, its a good app and helps with my writers block, especially with the new prompts it gives each time.
1 ★The questions I answered for the so-called challenges isn't the same! Like for example the 5 physical traits/adjectives of the character. I answered that one correctly, then after that, I reviewed the questions with the answers. It's flipped! The question where the I described my character, turned out to be a different question when I reviewed everything in the "challenge" (where the questions and answer are not editable) section of it. The questions are way too off!
4 ★I wish there were some more things i could add, maybe like seperate place for an individual characters with no story, the challenges for characters are vague, and maybe make dark mode free. The timeline only goes to 2099 and maybe make that like expanded, for example my stories take place in 2231, 4328 and 9875. Otherwise it works well, and helps you write characters.
5 ★As someone who likes to write very in depth characters and have a well planned story line, I would absolutely recommend this app to anyone! It's very organized, your tutorials are very clear and very helpful in the beginning, and frankly, I don't have any complaints about this app.
5 ★I love it. In the apps community, I met a lot of great friends. We compete in the weekly writing challenges, and have a good time pushing each other to be better. When the prompts aren't updated on time, we make our own fun. I love my Auctor Family. Brandon Le is one of them. You can see his comment below.
4 ★It was great and had lots of features which helped me develop my characters and such, but there were several grammatical errors and all the characters are referred to as male. Some questions are slightly hard to understand. Aside from that it's a great app which helps me as a rookie writer.
4 ★My only complaint about this app is that it refers to everyone as HE. My characters are mostly women and I hate that they're referred to as he the entire time. Please change to he/she instead of just 'he'. Also the ads are annoying asf but that's not a super big problem.
1 ★I was not happy with the app. I wanted an app I could use to write my stories. I wrote one last night that I had been writing in my mind and tonight I can not find my story on it anywhere after saving it last night. It seems to be more for having contest on the best story one can write with the paragraph that they have wrote .
