5 ★Recent update in September crashes app immediately. Google pixel 7a updated software. Uninstalled and installed several times.
4 ★Neat app, needs a map or neighborhood view. Difficult to find places near you because there's no map view. Also needs more inventory. Not very cost competitive with self storage and some of the parking was free/public on-street parking being "rented". I'd give it another try if there was a map view.
1 ★Got a reservation, car got towed, their doing absolutely nothing on their end to locate it or rectify the situation properly
1 ★Terrible experience, you have to pay up front before you can get a address or view it. They don't know what is available or if what they are offering is true. I tried to reserve a storage space that didn't exist, they immediately debited my account. I'm now having trouble trying to get my money refunded. Do not give credit card information to reserve upfront!!!
1 ★The day after I installed this app I started getting daily spam texts/calls. From 'Vern, your Neighbor app Success Specialist'. I never authorized my number to be used in this way! They mention 'we don't share your number until a reservation is authorized/approved'. But they leave out that they're going to be spamming you every day at your phone number.
5 ★I have been on this app for 1 year now and I have had a little luck with up to 4 renters but now I only have 1. I have been noticing that the app has been changing things to try to improve but it be nice to have easier way to have contact with the app about certain details when it comes to financing and dealing with some public about complaints that have nothing to do with us. Otherwise the app is going well. Thanks Hunters hide away!
1 ★This site is ridiculous and our customer service sucks The host was great. I only put a reservation in for a month I only use the spot for 2 weeks there are now punishing me for not staying another month so they're charging me double. If I known that I wouldn't have booked. Regardless it's ridiculous because I only booked a reservation for a month not multiple months. I work for a record label I was going to tell my artist to use this as we travel a lot but no I'm heading to the BBB
1 ★Hosts can cancel at anytime without penalty. Most advertised spaces were falsely advertised as full garages when in reality it was half the garage. All prices shown are false because they assume you want 2 months of storage minimum, which the advertised cost represents 1/2 price for first month only as long as you rent for at least two months. No way to verify ID in app so every host asks for a pic of your ID. Feels like a scam from start to finish.
1 ★They will call / text you non-stop (boredline harassment) if you add a place to rent. If I could attached all the calls and text messages I got from them I would it's ridiculous. They will try to pressure you into accepting the first person that asks to rent. I want to like the app but all the calls are insane.
1 ★Do not trust this app, or the locations it advertises. This app does not background check it's hosts, which has resulted in my storage being the victim to repeated thefts during the first month. When filing a police report, the local authorities said it was bound to happen, the house is know, and it was only a matter of time. Now we are not receiving any response from their help line, after they'd initially stated they would help us move our storage to a new location. Hoping they pay insurance!
5 ★This site automatically charges your card if you don't cancel the reservation. They charged me for a second month, because I didn't know I had to cancel. It took three days for customer service to get back to me, but they refunded me in full. I'd recommend neighbor. It is the cheapest storage option there is, easy to use, and decent customer service.
1 ★Messages don't get answered, and two reservations cancelled by the system because hosts don't bother to approve or deny in a 48 hour period, then I get a direct text? *Scammer* alert! And I still haven't seen a reversal of charges. Honestly this app is worthless, although the idea is solid.
