قد يظن البعض أن الحديث عن الجنة أمر تقليداً مكرراً تكاد تسأمه بعض النفوس ولا ريب أن هذا خلاف الفطرة وخلاف هدي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم و أصحابه وهل أرّق الصالحين وأقض مضاجع المتقين إلا أنهم يخافون أن يُمنعوا من دخول الجنة وهل عاش الأنبياء والمرسلون وأتباعهم من الأخيار عبر الدهور والعصور إلا وهم يسألون الله جل وعلا أن يدخلهم الجنة وهل خير صلى الله عليه وسلم عند موته حتى يتسنى له البقاء والخلد في الدنيا بأعظم من أن يقال له الخلد في الدنيا ثم الجنة فاختار صلى الله عليه وسلم لقاء ربه ثم الجنة وهل وعد الله جل وعلا عباده الأبرار وأتباعه الأخيار ممن آمن به من لدن آدم إلى أن تقوم الساعة بعطاء هو أعظم أو أجل من الجنة {فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَّا أُخْفِيَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاء بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ} [السجدة17] . وهل عاقب الله جل وعلا أحد ممن عصاه بأعظم من حرمانه من دخول الجنة أعاذنا الله و إياكم من الخذلان والحرمان .فإنه لا شك أن في الجنة فوق ما يخطر بالبال، أو يدور في الخيال، مما لا يوجد مثله في الدنيا، فقد قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: قال الله: أعددت لعبادي الصالحين ما لا عين رأت، ولا أذن سمعت، ولا خطر على قلب بشر، فاقرؤوا إن شئتم: فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ. متفق عليه.
إن في الجنة غرفًا يُرى ظاهرها من باطنها، وباطنها من ظاهرها، أعدها الله تعالى لمن أطعم الطعام، وألان الكلام، وتابع الصيام، وصلى بالليل والناس نيام. ورواه الترمذي عن علي، وصححه الألباني.
