5 ★Great way to get news. Non intrusive and does not interfere with your device or what you're doing. News is full and concise. Lets you pick what you want to read and ads are minimal but does not impede the articles.
1 ★Ever since the update a few days ago, the app doesn't update. My weather forecast is from last week 🤦🏼♀️ Many bugs and glitches to be worked out. I hate the updated app, it's a complete disaster! I used to rely on News12 for all of my local needs, sadly, I will be deleting this app, it's that useless.
1 ★UPDATE: How does this app have a 4.6 rating? None of the issues I stated in my original review have been addressed. There is still no settings option therefore I have no way to sign up for news or weather alerts. Emails to support are a joke. Also, no one subscribing to Optimum should be forced to sit through countless ads. No way. Five months later and the app is still awful. I am deleting it.
4 ★There's been a recent a big oops. I've been loving the app but recently when I click the notifications the story will appear but the writing will be upsidedown and backwards. When I exit the app and reload I then can't find the story that was in the alert.
1 ★Newest update automatically playing video for EVERY ARTICLE!! There are NO SETTINGS options, and when prompted to leave FEEDBACK within the app, your feedback is NOT SENT OR ACCEPTED!!! Also, can not get local weather, ONLY JERSEY CITY! No way to CHANGE LOCATION. Longtime user now DELETING App.
3 ★I do like the app and how it navigates. My biggest issue is when a notification of a story comes up on my phone and I click it to get the story It only brings me to the app "top stories" not the story itself. Then I cannot find the story.
5 ★Beyond expectations. All phases graphic visuals, crew and featured spots. In the ring with the heavy weights of news. Informative, objective, non bias and power conclusions to stories. So good.
1 ★This app is garbage the last update you couldn't see the town selected in the weather tab and with the newest update you can't change the location for the weather it is set for jersey city. I've had this app for a long time and its time to delete it.
3 ★Shouldn't have to see commercials and hit next a 1/2 dozen or more times to read a news story, one or two maybe three commercials before the story and the same afterwards, the way you have it now cause people to stop reading the whole story.
1 ★Totally Unorganized - Most of the articles within a tab have nothing to do with the tab headline! (E.g., weather articles under the crime tab) Worst app I've ever seen. 4 ★Every morning I'd sit on porch with coffee and watch live on my phone, now it doesn't have watch news 12 live! Idk what happened but its stinks! Please offer watch live again! I got by with it not loading and having to close out 2-3 times, or that it wouldn't go to full screen while in landscape mode to watch it live. Now you can't even watch live very disappointing!.. this was an older review, the app did an update and it addressed the concerns I had in this initial review.
5 ★Awesome. Very informative. I get all my needs in news met each day! Weather is to the point, always. Never crashes. Also, interactive which I like the most. I know what is happening as close to my doorstep. Thank you!
