The sound utility available on the galaxy series
Provides various convenience functions related to audio
- Allow you to control the media volume instead of ringtone when pressing the volume keys
- Support individual application volume (You can control the volume of music and games differently)
- 150 steps of fine volume and support Floating Equalizer(EQ)
- Create and activate personalize sound settings
- Support mono audio and left/right balance
- Touch the app volume icon in the floating dialog to play/pause and long click to enter the app.
The following features are available only if the Samsung Experience version of the smartphone on which Sound Assistant is installed is 8.5 or later.

5 ★I've enjoyed the app so far, definitely see the difference in audio quality and make volume work more efficiently overall when turning up/down.
5 ★More granular control, exactly what I was expecting from angular from a very very long time and I also have requested them. Finally Samsung came and gave us this amazing app. That too for free. Granular control also works with bluetooth.
5 ★personally I find it very useful for fine tuning many elements of my devices audio configuration. although, at times, it seems to need calibrating in regards to the "150 volume" perhaps the numbers get messed up when it reads volume 100 because that only means like 66%, or something. you know what I mean. sometimes volume 129 is louder than 150.. sometimes 137 is louder than 150... very strange when a click up in volume reduces the sound output.🤔. but seems to fix itself before too long.
3 ★It's a beautifully planned app. Really useful but it's been behaving weird lately, unmuting my muted sounds. It needs an upgrade and bug fixes.
5 ★i absolutely love this app! very useful. it integrates with samsungs volumn button so i could change per apps volumn really easily. 10/10 app. been using it for over 3 weeks so far. No problems at all.
4 ★I only have one problem with this app- after having it open for an extended period of time, the app will crash whenever I try to get back in again; aside from that, it rarely ever ever crashes on it's own. The individual app sounds stay at the desired level, accessibility features are easier to access than before, multiple sound options are available in order to provide a unique and further improved listening experience, and more. This is hands down a must-have app for all users, very impressed.
5 ★This should come built-in to Android. Granular control over each app's volume lets me easily mute a game and keep music cranked in the background. The EQ is nothing special but I don't use it often anyways.
1 ★There needs to be a way to keep the changes you make. I like to use the concert hall reverb for example, and I don't like that the app keeps changing my settings back to default. 1 star.
1 ★You need to fix your video assistance app! This app is worthless too. There's no way to adjust from notication section. Its another worthless feature given to you as a method of deception. They provide little to no services so you have to buy the newer phone each year for those service to work properly or at all. WAKE UP!
4 ★Previuosely I rated 5 stars. I found this app overall alright. The scenarios options here are just incredible. I am in love with it's floating option to operate my volumes so easy. But now I'm giving it 4 stars because whenever I change the level of my treble, bass or presets from the floating icon and after successfully doing so when I tap to close pop-up the icon disappeares! Since I am a huge fan of Samsung I am looking for the solution with the issue I am facing. Can't wait to give 5!
5 ★Very simple and effective fine-tuning of audio, also as explained in another review. My bluetooth on it's lowest setting is sometimes too loud in quiet environments.
5 ★I set spotify as 'multi sound' app, and social media or any media source won't pause my music anymore. 'Separate app' feature is great for parties, to connect to a bluetooth speaker and use your phone sound normally or to have music playing through an aux cord simultaneously as bluetooth. 'Individual sound' comes in handy when games are loud but you don't want to mute them, so the music playing from another app can stay loud.
