1 ★I'm in the midst of a better business bureau complaint with a new management co and some of it revolves around this app. Avoid it if at all possible. We've had incorrect info entered twice and it took months to resolve so you have to make sure it's a reputable person adding data. As a tenant, you can not remove your profile, even if not a tenant anymore. For owners you're paying double fees because of the fees associated with this app. This removed all human interaction which can be inadequate.

3 ★It's a good app but. I agree with a couple people on here saying to charge us a fee for using a debit or credit card as a convenience. That a convenience for you not us we already pay out the butt in rent why do you want to charge us more. ACH withdrawals are free but take FOREVER to post in your account when EVERYONE USES online payments this day and age that you should not charge a fee to use a debit or credit card. Like I said that's not a convenience for us. ITS A CONVENIENCE FOR YOU
5 ★I love using this App. It's very convenient and easy way to make rent payments, and especially maintenance requests. Only downside is when uploading pictures for maintenance, it's only able to upload one, causing me to send repetative blank requests just to attach another photo. Another feature that would be nice is to actually be able to either change emergency contact, or very least, send any corrections like their mispelled name, via App instead of mailing to the renter agency.
1 ★(1/2) I was shocked to see that I just received an email from appfolio letting me know my payment on 6/27 had been rejected by my bank for insufficient funds. I checked my bank balance and sure enough, there is plenty of money to cover the payment! It's bad enough I have to wait 3 days to have payments applied to my account, but it's even worse to have a payment returned in error, incurring a $50 fee by my property manager for NSF, which I CAN'T afford, not to mention...... Cont'd
5 ★Amazing app for tenants to pay their rent online, submit maintenance requests, Send communications at anytime, and for tenants to easily submit proof of insurance coverage or purchase a policy, right from your portal.
4 ★When it works, it's fine. When it's not working...pain to resolve. I recently tried logging in. It said my email or pswd is not correct. After multiple attempts, I requested a powder reset. The reset email message said my email doesn't exist in their system & I need to contact my admin. I did. They sent a screen shot which has my email, the account is active, but that I have not set up a 2 part authenticator. However, I've made other contributions w/o issues using 2part authentication. Urgh
5 ★Makes paying bills extremely easy and no questions about what to do or how to do it...Ive seen alot of different portals and this seems to be the easiest to work with and I can always go back and look at what transactions I have made, make your life so much easier, no more running to Walgreens, Walmart or CVS to make payments straight from your checking or savings and theres no additional charge!!! Its click, one and done!! The easiest banking & bill pay ever!!!
1 ★This app gives your landlord the ability to report your rent as a balance due to credit agencies every month. Theoretically, this might help some people's credit. Each month, my credit score goes down prior to paying my rent on time, which I always do, just based on this reporting alone. The entire balance of my unit, including my roommates share, is reported on my credit report. I've now ended my lease but this app has left the balance due on my credit report for good.
2 ★The app is nice to have info all in one place but the feature that needs to be improved is Maintenace Requests. Tenants should have more options to add comments, re-open requests, close requests and provide feedback on the quality of work. We should receive notifications on any maintenance comments or status changes. Requests have been closed without my knowledge when the work was not actually completed.
