Description
Speedometer is a free GPS based application that includes the following information:- current speed (you can choose mph, km/h or knots)
- odometer (the distance of a journey)
- elapsed time of a journey
- current weather and temperature
- maximum and average speed
- height over/below the sea level
- charts showing how your speed and height change in time
- panel compass
- icons showing internet connection and satellite lock status
- different color versions (skins)
- warning sound after reaching a defined speed limit
- different modes for certain activities (walking, running, cycling, driving a motor or car, sailing, flying an airplane)
Ideal if your vehicle speedometer has crashed, you want to verify your vehicle speed or you just want to what is your current speed when hiking, cycling, running, riding, driving, etc.!
App contains 3 different visual versions of speedometers:
- LCD look alike
- circle speedometer
- half-circle speedometer
The app acts in a landscape mode (horizontal position).
Although we strive to make all measurements as accurate as possible, they can only be as accurate as your device's GPS sensor allows and should only be regarded as approximations.

The screen doesn't not turn off during long journeys!
