Comprehensive Vitamin D tracking app. Uses the GPS in your phone to figure out where you are on the planet then computes when you can get D, how much of it you can make, gives you a timer and in the paid version the ability to manage history and have the app estimate your levels on an ongoing basis.

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★I've got a lot from the app over the last year and I'm grateful to get the pro version free while covid is doing its stuff. It made an accurate job of estimating my D levels (58 compared to 53 on previous test) The frustration is that I entered that score of 53 and it has remained constant at that number for the last 3 weeks despite considerable supplementation and sun exposure being entered. I would have thought it would add to the test number as time progressed.
5 ★This app is great. through using it, I've learnt plenty about how quickly my body can produce vitamin D from the sun depending on the time of day, angle of the sun, cloudy cover, and skin exposure percentage. Of all the thinks I've optimised for, vitamin D seems to have had the largest beneficial effect.
3 ★I have just started using this app, and am pleased to have the upgrade during covid (update: now paid for pro) I like that it tells the index number, it seems very thorough. I take active vitamin D, alfacalcidiol prescribed, if I could add that figure in then it would be an extra star from me. Also I can't seem to cancel a sun session or sunscreen session, if I need to.
4 ★Awesome app, but can you guys please allow it to work without Google Play Services? Even with my location found in Android, dminder won't read my location, and I can't manually select location on a map because of no Google Play Services, and so the app just hangs on Initializing Location, and is 100% unusable.
3 ★This app is a great idea filled with a lot of science. Unfortunately, the UX is God-awful and feels like it was destined by, well, scientists. Main things to improve: 1) There should be a notification when the timer is running so sessions can be quickly stopped or paused. 2) It should pull weather data to determine the overcast level. There's no way I'm going to manually start the app, set the overcast level, my clothing level, and start the timer every single time I go outside.
4 ★Asks the meaningful questions to custom tailor results. But setting date of birth is downright irritating. I tried keying in the date but couldn't. Had to use calendar. Tried to select by year but no provision for that. Had to click, click, click... to get back to 1955. Entered height and weight. I then needed to check another app running concurrently. When I came back, even though DOB was still in the date field, I was required to go back and re-enter it before moving on. Again, click, click, click... Everything else was fine.
2 ★Might be a good app, but apparently it doesn't want you to use it if you haven't had a blood test in the last 90 days. I guess I could just put in any old date and any old number for the blood test results (presumably a Vitamin D reading, but they don't actually state that. And your blood test result would often give the information they want you to add under a different name). If I do that, the "Finish" button becomes available. In all reality though, from reading about this app on Lifehacker, I thought it would be useful to me to tell the best times I can get Vitamin D from the sun. And it probably does that. But all that extra info that they ask for makes it more of a headache than I had hoped for. Another general concern. Other apps and online sources seem to agree that at my location, Vitamin D starts mid-April and ends mid-August. This app states Feb 24 to Oct 16. I've never seen anyone else specify a "D" range anywhere that long. ???
4 ★This app is incredible, thank you for this app! I would give it 5 stars were if it "autosaved" the session that was in progress before I accidentally closed the app. I cant tell you how how many times I have accidentally swiped or closed my session out and it doesn't save my sun session. That's frustrating. Anyways please add this useful security feature,I'm sure many would agree of this accidental mishap.
3 ★Good app but notifications are constant! I get a notification every few minutes, if the angle of the sun changes, if the window for D is open, if it's closing soon. How soon it's closing, tons of notifications a day now, I used to only get the window opens and solar noon. But it is seriously telling me every single angle change now, it's annoying and I may have to turn all of them off, even though I had wanted the 2 daily reminders! It was a 5 star app until this change.
3 ★The app has its pros and cons. Pro: tells the best time of day for getting D from the sun and recommends length of exposure. This is its most valuable feature. Cons: If you close the app or move around in the app once your timer has started, it appears that the timer stops working. It would be useful for more detailed info on what to do (or not do) once a session has started. Would also like to be able to delete a session due to improper time recording. the app is decent - just needs some work.
5 ★Fantastic app which has helped me to understand when and how vitamin D is produced - time of day, time of year, how many IUs per minute throughout the year and when none can be made. Tracking the app's estimation of my vitamin D level over time is fun. I want to get to a blood level of 100 ng/ml or even 150, like the hunter gatherers of Africa by aiming for 6 to 8K IUs a day.
2 ★Good effort but many issues. It doesn't tell you what units to input in height and weight. If feet, doesn't have where to add inches. It gives a birthdate error after entering weight. Fixed by redoing bdate and keep going next. It doesn't adjust to how many minutes left until the ideal window based on the sun altitude I selected. Doesn't let you select other locations. Doesn't let you fiddle with different times to plan ahead. Last app update was over a year ago.
