1 ★Useless app, more cons than pros. I was offered a parking space in a street in Cambridge and when I got there, it turned out that the whole street is 'resident permit holders only' I could not park there, had to find somewhere else to park. JustPark charged me £5.79 for their offer and when I contacted them about the problem I had, they offered me a £5 discount on my next parking. Ridiculous. ...
1 ★The worst experience I've had with an app for a very, very long time. App didn't suggest the car park I was standing in despite locating it me correctly so had to use a code. No indication that unlike all other parking apps I've used thatit's a pay on exit car park. Very confusing. Couldn't take payment when I wanted to leave so had to use the machines at the exit of the car park. What's the point of this app if it can't do these basic things!!!
4 ★The app is easy enough to use, so four stars for that. Some gripes, however: The app charged more (ok, only 10p) than the car park tariff; It was not obvious until I'd paid that I could extend time; Having booked more than I used, I could not find a way to tell the app to end the session, which made it very difficult to use when I went to another car park in another town with the previous still active - a check in/check out system would be 100% better. No way to pay and not save a card.
3 ★I use this app when travelling to London. Which is at least once every week. My first time using the app the location given in app was no where near the parking space. Once I found it using Google maps and parking my car there, the parking space owner decided to cancel the booking, a couple of hours after I parked? Got a refund but was worried in case my car got towed away as it was a 6 hour booking. I was not able to come back before that to move the car. Other bookings have been fine though.
1 ★Worst setup and use experience ever. The app originally would not accept my payment options, this should have been a red flag. Once I got the payment option sorted I started the parking session and went about my business. A short time later I returned and the app looked like it never started my parking. Later that evening I received an email to say I was charged a full days parking. Customer support says they can't do anything. Best to just avoid
5 ★Very easy to use this app. You simply put an area you want to park. App then shows all available parking with prices. Shows street view of parking space. Also navigation to space using Google maps.
4 ★I was recommend this app and it's great. You are able to filter the locations of where you want to park if you have the address details or just type the place where you need to be, and it'll filter for the nearest parking available. Of course some parking spaces will be better than others going off reviews but you'll save a ton of money parking in NPC's or at event on-site parking. App is easy to use and you can communicate with the owner of the parking spot should you have any questions.
1 ★They don't alert you before the next hour of parking which makes it to easy to leave it running. I left this review in 2021 and the feedback from the team was that they would feed this back to the technical team to see if anything could be done. 2 years on and I'm still having the same problem. Although the app is amazing in all other respects, I just can't continue to pay for 5 hours parking if I forget to stop the parking session.
1 ★Your app is buggy as all hell. Upon completing a parking, the next day when i try to park at that location again, it glitches and just repeatedly shows me the recipept for previous parking. Which means sometimes ill get a ticket purely because your app dosent work. It also hides my location when i try to search for nearby locations, probably because its the cheapest option.
5 ★Easy to pay via Ringo so long as you get a good phone signal. Made much easier when the carpark location is recognised by the app, and your number plate has been saved and payment. Only negatives are the extra charges on top of the parking charge. You need to adjust your personal settings to not receive reminder texts that accure extra charges. Although you would still have to pay a small administration charge onto of the standard parking charge.
3 ★The app mainly works, but I'm giving 3 star for the default deceptive practices & dark patterns to make you pay more than what you need. I just made a £1 parking payment that it by DEFAULT tried to tack on TWO different SMS notifications that cost 10p each. ( EDIT: After response I found these options buried, but default opt-in is anti-consumer, and should be a free push-notifcation). 2: after paying you get a popup to "protect" your car for just "£0.29/hour" with the no option "I'll risk it"...
5 ★Visit to the O2 - easy to book a space with only 3 days until the event (Peter Kay Show) - other people paid £40-£50 to park in the No.1 Car Park, but we paid a quarter of that and only had a 15minute walk. Excellent idea and perfectly safe to park.
