How to install Letterboxd APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Letterboxd APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.letterboxd.letterboxd-v2.19.4-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

1 ★I love this app but suddenly it's crashing the second I open it. Tried to Uninstall/reinstall and no change. I have a Galaxy S21. Please fix this. I want to be able to use this app.
3 ★This review is based on the apps functions as well as the lack thereof. I demand in any app that stays on my phone for entertainment purposes be ABLE to be INSTALLED ON MY EXTERNAL SD CARD. This app does NOT allow that. Please change this!!! All else is livable from there, most things are fantastic! Great app and great job!

3 ★Great to keep track of movies watched, but really needs TV shows, even if it's just treating each season as a singular thing, IDC, it's just annoying that this is so close to being perfect for me. Letterboxed team, if you can hear me, add TV shows, even if it is just the popular ones or newer ones, and just treat each season as if it was a movie. Sure, the date watched won't line up perfectly, but watching the final episode/last day of watching is important and would be nice to record that.
3 ★Love this app but like someone else said it would be really cool to see more personalized features like favorite actoras, directors, whatever. Maybe quotes? Maybe more forum like features too (and messaging) because i love to talk to people about movies!!
3 ★I have the Pro version. I've asked for tech support on how I'm able to see notifications regarding my watch list films being newly added to my services. Makes it a pain to screenshot my notification, then search each individual movie to see where it's playing.
2 ★This is a hard to work with app! My favorite shows didn't even come up by searching. I'd rather use TVTime app.
1 ★Not what I expected. I wanted something to log movies I've watched. This is not intuitive at all. Maybe it's just the mobile version but this is not something I would willingly keep using.
3 ★I love Letterboxd, coming from someone who describes themselves as a Cinephile this site is a godsend, but unfortunately the app has a lot of issues. Inconsistent is the word I'd use. Randomly crashing, not loading pages. These wouldn't be massive issues if they didnt happen so often. The desktop page works great, but Letterboxd really needs to work on the app side of their service because it's just been getting worse. I will still support this service, but these issues need to be fixed.
1 ★Used to be my fav app. Now it sucks. Can't log movies or add to my lists. Also takes forever to load. Sucks. Cause I used it daily before all this.
4 ★Letterboxed is held back by a few major problems. Mainly having to do with the servers. They constantly go down and sometimes they go down for specific movies. But that's not to take away from all the good stuff. It's so fun to rate movies and write reviews for them. I always have fun just browsing through the movies I've rated. It's also super helpful to keep track of what movies you would like to watch and where to watch them. Despite its problems I highly recommend letterboxed.
4 ★Quite, I found a site like this year's ago, but forgot the URL. Excellent thinking on part of the owners for developing an app, as the website displays in an unusual way and can be frustrating to navigate via mobile. The app fulfills its purpose, I only wish I did not need to link my Google or Twitter to set a profile picture. Another side note, right now the server is experiencing issues. Beyond those criticisms, I have only positives to gush.
