Description
SI-Droid ROC är en app som gör det väldigt enkelt att rapportera in online-stämplingar från skogen under en orienteringstävling med SportIdent. Allt som behövs i skogen förutom själva kontrollenheten är en mobiltelefon + en USB OTG-kabel (kan hittas hos Kjell o Co eller Clas Ohlsson för under en hundring).Appen rapporterar in alla stämplingar till ROC's webservice. Se mer på http://olresultat.se. Därifrån kan stämplingarna sedan hämtas av valfritt admin-program (t.ex. OLA, OE/OS2010, MeOS).
Appen har stöd för USB, SRR och seriella enheter (via en USB-till-serie-konverterare). Vill du ansluta mer än en enhet åt gången så behövs även en USB-hubb. Normalt behövs ingen strömförsörjd USB-hubb utan allt matas via telefonen.
För att kommunikationen med SI-mastern ska fungera så måste telefonen ha stöd för USB-OTG. På hemsidan http://www.joja.se finns info samlad om vilka enheter som har testats och fungerar med USB-OTG.
OBS: Om du tänker använda appen skarpt på en telefon med Android 6.0 eller nyare så bör du göra ett undantag för appen i Androids batterioptimering. Om detta inte görs så riskerar ROC-rapporteringen att sluta fungera efter någon timme. Läs mer på hemsidan (http://www.joja.se).
