Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★wouldn't even let me play. just kept playing ad after ad. edit: after another attempt of working with it by uninstalling and redownloading, it might work now. the ads are still a little annoying, but not as overwhelming as they were in the beginning. edit #2: the sound works beautifully unlike the others. I've downloaded this in hopes reminiscing on a pure time when I used to play this. I'm glad i gave this app a second chance.
1 ★Crashes every once in a while, but overall it runs games very smoothly, and fast! I've been playing Pokemon Platinum, and it feels the same as when I had played it on my DS... Very great emulator app!! EDIT: Used this emulator for awhile, and it worked great aside from a few crashes here and there. With the recent update however, I can't even play the games I used to play. The app can't auto scan files anymore so it gives you these steps and when you follow them... It still doesn't work.
4 ★Absolutely love this but there can still be a little improvement for the button layout. I would like to ask if its possible to add a sort of circle pad for movement and a lay out for the action buttons where they are on a circle split into fourths as a customization tobthe button lay out. I feel it could make playing easier and fast. Other than that, its amazing :)
4 ★I feel that this is a really great emulator (and I know the ads are "annoying" to you people, but those ads are what keep this thing on the app store for free), it just has a few problems, like the mic being so hard to use (At least 1000 rupees are easy to get...) and the buttons not even being there now. Seriously I cant get the menu to appear now and its stuck that way for some reason. Please fix these problems. Thank you.
3 ★It does work and runs DS games really well. In particular I play Pokémon Mystery Dungeon:Explorers of Sky, and it runs really smoothly with no lag or overheating (which might be more of a compliment on my phone's part). This would be even better if you could pay once for premium or something; $0.99 cents to get rid of the ads and whatnot as a one time payment thing. For what you get from it, I'd definitely say it's worth it even with the ads.
4 ★Works good. Very smooth in sound and graphics. This emulator actually works great with games that use real time. All you need to do is click menu, reset game and then bam! The time sets to its current self! So if you wanna play tomodachi collection, this app is the best. One problem is that sometimes the emulator glitches and logs you out of the app during an ad but it happens on rare occasions. All in all, a decent app.
3 ★The is a great emulator that runs every game that i play very well. But there are a few glaring problems. the fist one is the ads you see but that is understandable. what isnt understandable is why you have to see ads whenever you want to change the game. the other problem is that if you dont use the app for about a week or 2 all of your progress will be deleted or lost. or maybe that is a me problem i dunno.
4 ★Honestly, this would be 5 stars if it wasn't all for the frequent crashes & minor issues. It overall depends on what type of device you're playing this on, and it'd be definitely appreciated if the crashes were ressolved. Another small thing are the touches registering for the DS controls, sometimes they don't properly get detected so you may have to touch it again for it to work correctly. Other than that though, it's a great emulator.
3 ★The options that let me change my screen settings do not work, meaning it's impossible for me to play game that are turned to the side (Hotel Dusk, Style Savvy, I think Brain Age, etc.) without setting my phone down on a solid surface. I've tried every single default option as well as going in and editing the screens myself, but nothing changes. Other than that, it works pretty well. It crashes, demanding a restart pretty often. But it's mostly fine.
2 ★In general, this emulator is great. It's easy to use and has brought me a lot of joy over the past couple of months. But now whenever I try to run any of my roms, the app crashes. I tried .nds, .zip, and .7z, but they all crash. .7z files bring me to a grey screen for a bit and then crashes, while the other files just crash. I don't remember when this started, but I suspect it has something to do with the update. I haven't been able to test this on other devices. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
4 ★I'm astounded at how well this runs on my phone! No frame dips whatsoever! Had it crash on me a few times, bit as long as you remember to save, it shouldn't be a big problem. Some audio problems, but it goes away if you pause and un-pause the emulator. My only real issue is that the very top of my phone screen doesn't work, so I can't move left in landscape mode. And I can't change the button layout because I can't click it. But I can still play in portrait mode.
3 ★It handles great, no need for Frame skipping, resizeable repositionable controls, and gamepad support. One issue is that there is no way to remove ads. No premium (which I would totally pay for, for this). The ads limit the size of the screen, and the fact that some of them are gifs makes it hard to focus on the screens
