By running the app on the phone that holds the on duty phone number where customers and alarm systems calls and sends alarm SMS messages, it automatically forwards the call and alarm SMS to the person who is currently on duty.
Client phones can easily see who is currently on duty and take over the on duty directly from its own phone. Alarm SMS generates a well displayed alarm. By pressing a button, the alarm is confirmed. If an alarm is not confirmed within a certain time, the alarm can be automatically escalated to a manager. Alarms can be filtered to send a confirmation message back to the original sender. This is compatible with for example op5 network monitoring system.
On Duty Manager can be used in two modes: On Duty phone and Client phone.
In the On Duty mode, the phone acts as server phone and holds the On Duty phone number where calls and alarms are sent to. This mode requires client subscriptions, which can be easily purchased from within the app.
In client mode, the app can be used as client towards a phone running On Duty mode. It can also be used as a standalone app that supports SMS alarms. The client mode is free of charge to use.
