A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew
1 ★This app is terrible. The UI/UX is actively hostile to users -- it uses the full screen, which means its main menu is overtaken by the default phone navigation at the bottom of the screen, making it impossible to access that menu. If you switch apps while using the Maricopa County one, perhaps to look up a phone number, going back to the app results in a black screen and, eventually, usually -- but not invariably -- goes back to the main app page, not the one you were just on. Uninstalled immediately after the above shenanigans. A basic spreadsheet is a better resource.
1 ★There are so many bugs and flaws in this app that it is highly inadvisable to depend on it in the case of an emergency. Shame on Maricopa County. Having this app available for public use will only result in instilling a false sense security. An app that people are using to ensure the safety and well being has to perform at 100%, a 100% of the time before it can be released for public use. That is what beta testing is for!
3 ★The push of "emergency" notifications is useful. I'd want to know if a monster thunderstorm was bearing down on me in the middle of the night. HOWEVER: I do NOT need to be awakened at 4:30 AM to be told that it is going to be a hot day in Phoenix in August. Please fix that.
1 ★This app is worthless. I get one line alerts, but when I tap them to get more details, the app tries to launch but sits there forever. For critical information, it should launch right away.
3 ★I've gotten 10 notifications that its raining (flood warnings) in the last 3 hours. The app is useless without alerts but I can't handle the same alerts over and over. May need to uninstall
2 ★Installed for less that a minute and already crashed. Cannot dismiss a notification without turning notifications off, sort of the wrong idea.
1 ★Have received 3 scary demands to evaluate now! 0ne at 1: 30AM! Yet its for another country issue. Faults alert. I'm sure they don't want to cry wolf too many times. So I just delete it the app.
5 ★pretty good bugs worked out
4 ★Nice way to get organized. Some keyboard issues (no cut & paste). Font issues on initial address entry. Can't enter dashes in phone numbers. A json file import/export of data would help keep multiple devices in sync.
5 ★This is an amazing app for emergency preparedness! It walks you through the steps to create an emergency plan and kit. It gives you alerts, evacuation routes, shelter locations, and allows you to send a status update during a large-scale emergency.
1 ★While this is good, it contains little ADA-capability in the app. Laxative purchases might be under scrutiny with data collection as they are under a flag for cheap methadone substitution. Overall there is an assumption of affordability in medical kit supplies and ability to shop in general. Maybe Maricopa needs an elderly person on limited income to do a walk-through end-to-end see if this is actually feasible in a budget? (Looks like it was straight out of an LDS prepper manual)
1 ★Had this installed for less than 5 minutes 🤔...
