Le prestazioni motorie delle persone possono variare nel tempo per diversi motivi quali ad esempio l'invecchiamento o la comparsa di disturbi del movimento.L' applicazione MotorBrain ti permette di misurare importanti qualità del tuo controllo motorio delle mani, considerando caratteristiche quali precisione, velocità di esecuzione e tempo di reazione visivo-motorio. Inoltre, Motorbrain ti fornisce delle infografiche dettagliate dei tuoi movimenti nel tempo e usando l'app aiuti la ricerca neurologica sui disturbi del movimento.
Quando l'app avrà raggiunto un vasto numero di utenti, verrà rilasciata una versione aggiornata che permetterà di confrontare i propri risultati con le medie della popolazione di analoga età.
MotorBrain è stata sviluppata in collaborazione tra docenti del Laboratorio di Interazione Uomo-Macchina dell'Università di Udine e medici del Dipartimento di Neuroscienze dell'Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria "S.M. della Misericordia" di Udine.
