3 ★I don't know if this is an Android thing or the KSL app. But when I'm streaming the news I wish we could go back 15 seconds or forward 15 seconds. It's a nice feature that I had on the app on a really old iphone. I still use it for streaming news only so I can go back or forward when I want.
2 ★The Notifications are very useful. However, the app is sub par. The videos hardly ever load no matter how good your connection is, and you can't read the articles on the app. Lots of room to improve
1 ★Very poorly built app. Due to trivial mistakes I am unable utilize this with any benefitn whatsoever. From searching stories, to avoidable frustrations when the widget is present, to attempting to view images, I wouldn't recommend to anyone. It doesn't respect the limited ability of Android lifecycle or resources. With no way to provide feedback I can only assume that KSL hired the only unqualified developers in a city chock full of professional engineers to build a seemingly simple app.
2 ★Why have a search button if it doesn't do anything? If it's just taking a minute to produce results, why is there no progress bar indicating such? You get one point because at least the UI looks nice.
4 ★Hey KSL, I have enjoyed reading the news from your app every day for a long while now. I would give you 5 stars but the weather video stopped working last week. Now it's just a spinning wheel. Tried reinstalling. Still spinning. What's up/app!
1 ★Will not stop opening "This is the place Heritage Park" AD!!! I accidentally touched the AD once and now randomly my phone will open my browser and take me Heritage Park website. Over and over and over!!!! Super frustrating! I can't even get through one article without it happening 10 times! I'm done with KSL.
1 ★I uninstalled it because it keeps closing right after I open it. I tried reinstalling but it still shuts down right after opening. Phone is new. I have plenty of data and memory.
3 ★I used to live in SL but live in a nearby state. The app is good and I view it daily. I don't look at the live coverage as I don't care the least bit about the advertising. It takes too long to get to the story.
5 ★Consistently great, up-to-date app. The only problem with it is its ability to lure me in and keep me captive for long periods of time! If you are a news junkie, avoid at all cost!! Haha
1 ★KSL should be renamed to the Swing Mood News. Journalism should be about reporting unfiltered truth without any bias and only based on facts. KSL become probably one of the worst news companies. It is obvious they follow CNN steps, which leads to the very dangerous sensorship of the truth. This is America, not some China or Russia. Restore journalism the way it used to be. Shame on you KSL! 😔
1 ★This "news station" is seriously lacking in reporters with skill. I'm thoroughly disappointed in the decline of ability to report from an objective viewpoint. Everything is dripping with political agendas and that party's tired rhetoric. I wouldn't mind the political pieces as much if every party was represented equally, but no, that is so far from the case. Hopefully the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints realizes what a mess this business is and parts ways soon.
3 ★I wish I could pick and choose what stories that appear. I don't care much for ball sports, I don't even open the sports section of the paper. It would be nice to block all the sports stories from appearing on my page. They need to divide their stories. It would be great to switch off the "politics" page too.
