A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★I like the content, but the app constantly crashes, this is one of the most unstable apps that I've ever tried to use! Extremely frustrating when you just want to hop on for 20 min and catch up with the news. Also, WHY ARE THE COMMERCIALS SO ABSURDLY LOUD??!! Whoever is managing the digital experience at CNN should be fired and replaced by someone who actually knows what they are doing.
1 ★Doesn't work on Google Cast with Android TV at all. Load it up and it goes drops out/
3 ★think maybe some people that gave it bad reviews haven't tried the latest version. The live feed works great on my Shield. I just wish voice activating "launch CNN Go" would actually launch the live TV and not the clips. Other than that I can't complain. works great! Also, the commercials are WAY too loud, much louder than the actual content, I feel like I'm waking up my neighbors a lot of the time :/
3 ★Works fairly well for viewing live programming on the go. There's issues which bring the experience down, though: 1) Commercials are *absurdly* loud vs the programming. Come on. 2) The stream while on Chromecast frequently stops. Please improve stability. 3) The voice command to play on Chromecast only plays old clips. Add an option for defaulting straight to the live stream. 3) Add an option to restrict video streaming to wi-fi only. 5) Give an option to pay for live streaming for the folks who are OTA or want to be.
1 ★Can't get it to work on one of my Nvidia shields. It plays on my shield tv in my living room, and my roku in one of my other rooms(And no not all playing at the same instance, just in case somebody states that the reason my app will not play),but will not play in my master bedroom. I've tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling the app ,clearing my cache but keep getting message upon starting the app stating"No network connection detected. Please check you connection and try again".Strange the shield tv in the living room and roku are connected through my routers wifi, and the app plays on those two.My master bedroom connection is hardwired thu my ethernet cable, and I keep getting the "no network detected message"Very Strange.
1 ★A workaround for anyone. Search AptoideTV from google playstore. Download sideload launcher which shows up. Now get AptoideTV. Then you can download CNNgo from there. Who knows why it doesn't show up in play store anymore. I was able to link up my FIOS account as well. Time for a good dose of fake news. I like the HLN morning show a little bit. Their primetime lineup is getting worse by the day but good for a chuckle every now and then :)
1 ★Like everyone else, with the newest Google TV Chromecast device, Downloaded the App, launched it and BAM back to the previous screen.
1 ★BUSTED. No longer loads successfully, very disappointing.
1 ★Suddenly no longer shows up for Nvidia SHIELD boxes. Completely stupid. I'll watch MSNBC now, thanks.
1 ★Would love to use this and would even be willing to pay a small monthly or annual fee but nope, got to have a "TV Provider". My TV Provider is an antenna for free. How about offering this as a stand alone app, CNN?
1 ★The latest update says it's not compatible with the NVidia Shield
1 ★""No network connection detected". Oh, I definitely have a network connection
