About Podcast Player APK
Table Of Contents
Description
You will find no skins or pretty buttons in this app. It was made to be low overhead and efficient. Ever tried using a slider bar to skip around in a 2 hour podcast? This app uses buttons so you can skip to where you want. The pause/resume is oversize and at the top so you can use it in your car's cup holder. It can delete the mp3 after you have listened to it. It wont lose your position like other podcast players. This app does not download podcasts. It only plays them.
permissions:
READ_PHONE_STATE - so it can know when to automatically pause for incoming calls.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - so it can optionally delete the podcast files after you listen to them.
WAKE_LOCK - so your device wont go to sleep in the middle of a long podcast.
I had planned on finishing the $1 version that had these extra features, but then we had a baby, and my spare time is non-existent now!
IF I EVER FIND THE TIME AGAIN, this is what the $1 will have:
1. play entire folder
2. night mode
3. pause/resume on headphone plug/unplugged
4. force screen to stay portrait or landscape
5. progress bar
6. sleep timer
7. more languages
8. adjustable playback speed

Questions & Answers
Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
