Description

Looking for Siddhartha Gautama Quotes?? Want to know more about Buddha and Buddhism? Then this is the App for you!

Siddhartha Gautama (Pali: Siddhattha Gotama) was a spiritual teacher from the Indian subcontinent, on whose teachings Buddhism was founded. In most Buddhist traditions, he is regarded as the Supreme Buddha (P. sammāsambuddha, S. samyaksaṃbuddha) of our age, "Buddha" meaning "awakened one" or "the enlightened one."

The time of his birth and death are uncertain: most early 20th-century historians dated his lifetime as c. 563 BCE to 483 BCE,[2] but more recent opinion dates his death to between 486 and 483 BCE or, according to some, between 411 and 400 BCE.

Based on some archeological findings and inscriptions, Buddha was born in Lumbini, modern Nepal which is a UNESCO world heritage site. Other archeological findings postulate that Buddha was born at Kapilavastu at Piprahwa, Uttar Pradesh, modern India or Kapileswara, Orissa, modern India. He later taught throughout regions of eastern India such as Magadha and Kośala.

Gautama, also known as Śākyamuni ("Sage of the Śākyas"), is the primary figure in Buddhism, and accounts of his life, discourses, and monastic rules are believed by Buddhists to have been summarized after his death and memorized by his followers. Various collections of teachings attributed to him were passed down by oral tradition, and first committed to writing about 400 years later.

In Hinduism, he is regarded as one of the ten avatars of God Vishnu. He is also regarded as a god or prophet in other world religions or denominations like the Ahmadiyya Islamic religious movement and the Bahá'í Faith.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★There is more inteligent word
5 ★Life changing word's.
4 ★It changes life
5 ★Update it otherwise great
4 ★Superb Love it
5 ★Nice video handsome buddha
5 ★And i'm not even a Buddhist (i'm a Jedi). People of ALL faiths, practices, beliefs, lifestyles, and philosophies can appreciate the serene, mind-expanding thoughts contained in this easy to use and aesthetically pleasant application. Well, maybe not the Islams. Some of them would just as soon smite any Buddhist at his neck and blow up his statues.
5 ★I use this app on a frequent basis to help bring my stress level down and reminds me of how I should be acting and what I can do better. Some quotes bring me peace and others make me reflect and become more mindful. I share some of these with everyone who reads my fb, kids around me, and my family. I would highly recommend this app to anyone interested in learning more about the Buddhist ideals and to practicing Buddhists as a daily reminder or point of meditation or reflection.
4 ★I'm grateful for finding this app and reading the many great Buddhist quotes. The collection seems to be enormous with quotes from Thich Nhat Hand, Alan Watts and of course Buddha himself. If I could improve the app, then I would make an option to return to the quotes that I have favourited. I would also improve the widget, so it updates the quotes following the interval I have chosen, right now it seems to update the quote every time I return to the widget, which is a bit too much for me.
3 ★This could be a great app. The quotes are great and I like them. A problem that I found was that you couldn't advance to another quote unless you backed out of the application and then started it again. I think that needs to be fixed and they should also add a notification popup with a quote at whatever time you set it for. Like in the morning, so you have a positive thought.
1 ★Basically like the app. But you only get one quote before you have to choose how you want to proceed. Would like a default setting for "Random", by the way random isn't really random. It just picks an author and runs through their quotes, not really random
4 ★I understand that there are people of different religions that may disagree with these quotes, there might be people that simply do not understand these quotes. Like puzzles, they need to put their mind to it. It may take time, that is okay. I love these quotes. After a bit of contemplation, we can come to the realization of them all. Take your time, relax, because if you don't, you become stuck. After this you become stressed, and you are filled with the fourth hindrance. Relax, Take your time. Jack.
