Permanently use an old Android device to monitor power outs. There are multiple use cases, some examples:* Know when to turn on or off generator

For best result, connect the device charger to incoming power before any backup power like generator or batteries.
Shows whatever device is charging or not and for how long it has been going on.
History of power breaks including time stamp and duration.

Threshold can be set to delay reaction to state change in case power is unstable when coming or going.
