What's new in version 7.4.1
This is the final of release of the GrowIt! app. The GrowIt! app will officially close on October 30th. All members are invited to join a member run Facebook Group called “The Plant Community.” We appreciate our members, your feedback, your participation, and plant love more than we will ever be able to express.How to install GrowIt! APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download GrowIt! APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.growitmobile.growit-v7.4.1-ApkClean.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

1 ★Says i need a mandatory update but when i click on update, it just brings me to google play and i have the option of uninstalling or open. No update. This app crashes frequently and is not really user friendly nor really helpful with true plant identification. Mostly guesses from other users. Wanted something that would tell me what, where, how and when in regards to planting not just pics of peoples houseplants and such. Will be unininstalling.
5 ★I truly love it! it's fun to use. I like that I can keep record of all my plants, and that we the users can help each other identifying plants and sharing tips; this is importat for me because I don't have plants lovers around me so I feel a part of a community using GrowIt. Also, when you post a plant the app gaves a lot of information about it.
1 ★Extremely disappointed. I thought it would be fun but it's limited and just confusing people. There is a tiny plant database. I tried a couple basics and they weren't included. What's the point? There are people that obviously don't know plants telling others the wrong name for plants so just creating more ignorance. Maybe I'm more critical because I'm a horticulturist and it bothers me to see so much misinformation. Ugh. Uninstalling.
5 ★I love grow it. It is so fun to identify plants. Also I really enjoy the community feeling. Everyone works together in answering questions and giving advice. It is so positive. Great way to bring fellow plant people together. The app is easy to use and really fun. 5 stars. Love it, craftymelli7 👍👍👍👍👍
4 ★I am loving this app. As a new plant mama who recently discovered my thumb isn't as black as I thought it was, this app had been super helpful! It is also my new favorite social app. It's a wonderful community of positivity that is lacking in other places. The only improvement needed would be in the comments on posts and the notifications area. It's still a little clunky.
2 ★Made several attempts to ask about identifying a plant. App keeps telling me it can't upload my plant card, blaming my connection (which ISN'T an issue). Any time I ask questions, I get no response. Not very user friendly, and too small of a following to be helpful. No point. UNINSTALLED.
2 ★Not user friendly, not a big library of vegetation. Could not make suggestions without picking from a list that was wrong.
1 ★I signed up successfully, but when I logged in it said" wrong password ". Tried several times, same. Uninstalled. Done.
1 ★I opened the app, added a photo. I typed name, etc. Everytime I try to continue it tells me to mame the plant! I'm guessing if I'm adding a plant that you don't have in database I can't add it? Useless
5 ★I love this app! If you're looking for an app that'll ID different plants, but also has a ton of plant pictures and tips, this is the app for you! There's so much to 'GrowIt!' that you won't need another plant app for anything!
3 ★When searching for a app that allows to take a picture to identify a plant this app is one of the first to come up. I was looking for something immediate vs having to wait for someone to answer if a post a picture
2 ★Would be a helpful app IF people ever actually responded to your posts. Im not sure if the community is just too small so no one is available to answer my posts or if there an algorithm or something preventing people from seeing it? Either way, the only thing I got accomplished with this app is posting pictures of my plants, asking a few questions, and NEVER getting feedback from anyone.
