Halifax Bus app is my contribution to the community of Halifax; now you’ll never miss the bus again. The best part about this app is that you can easily find all of the bus stops nearby on map, add alerts for buses when it’s near a bus stop, add Stops and Buses to Favorite and get live news feed from Metro Transit twitter feed.I made this app because I thought there was a need to track buses, stops and bus times so I developed and launched the app on Google Play. I have had the opportunity to improve this app for several years thanks to all of the suggestions and support from 3000+ people of Halifax.
Main Features are:

• Easily find nearby stops using your location through GPS or search by stop# or description
• Save your buses and stops to Favorite to view later
• Ability to add alert for a bus to get information on how far the bus is and sets an alarm when the bus reaches the desired set time.
• View news feed that inform about any unscheduled detour of buses and any changes to routes
• Additional features like share app with friends, and suggestions
Please note that the times are as accurate as the bus updates them, so be cautious, arrive early and use your best judgment.
