倉頡輸入法 ( Cangjie Input ) 是一種常用的 中文 輸入法 ,由有「中文 電腦 之父」稱譽的 台灣人 朱邦復 先生於1976年創製。初期只有 正體中文 版本,原名「 形意 檢字法」,用以解決電腦處理 漢字 的問題,包括漢字 輸入 、 字形輸出 、 內碼儲存 、 漢字排序 等。朱邦復發明此輸入法時正值他為 三軍大學 發展 中文通訊 系統 之際,時任三軍大學校長的蔣緯國將軍為紀念上古時期 倉頡 造字 之精神,乃於1978年將此輸入法重新定名為「倉頡輸入法」。
1982年,朱邦復登報公開放棄倉頡輸入法專利權,並且極力推動電腦之 中文化。現今大部分作業系統,甚至一些 電子辭典 皆附有倉頡輸入法,為正體中文 世界 最普及的 形碼 輸入法。
倉頡輸入法 適用於多種 平臺 , 主流作業系統和大部分電子辭典均有內嵌。一些 線上 漢字字典 也採用 倉頡編碼 ( 倉頡碼 ) 作為 檢索工具。

普通話 是 中華人民共和國 中央人民政府認定的現代 標準 漢語 。普通話以 北京 語音為 標準音 ，以 北方話 為 基礎方言 ，以典範的現代 白話文 著作為 語法規範 。普通話與漢族人口佔比最高的官話方言區最為類似，「普通話」中的「普通」二字有「普遍」和「共通」的含義。
1923年中華民國 教育部 國語統一籌備會第五次會議決定基於現代中國北方官話的白話文 語法 和 北京話語音 制定 標準化漢語 ，稱為中華民國 國語 。1932年經中華民國教育部 (等同香港 教統局 ) 頒佈《國音常用字彙》後，被採納為中國的官方語言。作為 聯合國 六種官方工作語言之一，成為國際人士 學習中文 提升認知中國 文化 的主要參照。
1949年中華人民共和國成立後，「 國語 」改稱為「普通話」，「普通話」的稱呼後來也使用於港澳地區，台灣繼續使用「國語」稱呼，在海外華人地區則稱為「標準 華語 」。當前「國語」一詞在 中國大陸 主要是在網絡中使用，影視節目中多以「 國語版 」指代現代標準漢語版本的 電影 、 動畫 作品。
注音字典 ( zhuyin dictionary ) (按 ' 注 ' 使用字典)
中國清朝末年，自1892年起出現一個改革 漢語拼音 方式的運動，史稱「 切音字運動 」，此 運動 出現許多套改造 漢字 的方案。其中，章太炎的「 紐文 」與「 韻文 」方案後來成為注音符號 的前身。章太炎在1906年6月之後，第3次避難 日本 。他成為當時日本同盟會的機關報《民報》的主編。在1908年6月10日出版的《民報》第21號，刊登章太炎的〈駁中國用萬國新語說〉一文，文中發表他創造的36個「 紐文 」，22個「 韻文 」，是為今日 注音符號 的前身。因為當時的中國漢字仍是用二千年以來的「 反切 」方法，用漢字注音，相當不便。章太炎模仿 日語假名 文字，以「簡化偏旁」的辦法，利用 漢字 小篆 的結構，創造一套記音字母。
在 臺灣 ， 小學生 學習 漢字 前，必須上十週的注音 符號 教學課 ，也有不少 幼稚園 亦已經教授。日常生活中，注音符號既用來標注 生僻字 ，亦是常用的漢字 輸入法 ，其推廣相當普遍，多數 電腦 使用者均熟練使用。
