Turn your car into a connected car with a compatible Pioneer in-dash multimedia receiver, a compatible Android smartphone, and this AppRadio app. With your Android device connected, you will be able to discover and install compatible Apps that are optimized for in-car use. » How to connect
Connection is made through a single USB cable, you can use the Pioneer CD-MU200 USB to micro USB cable or the USB cable that comes with your phone.
» Compatibility
Depending on the Android phone you use, AppRadio One may not function well in its default setting.
Please change the AppRadioMode Sound System setting of your Pioneer product when you experience sound or image instability. Smartphone sound will then be played through your phone speaker instead of the AVH Car audio speakers, improving stability.
For some popular phones, the stable product setting is suggested below. The selection can only be made after you update your Pioneer product. The new firmware and instructions are available on your local Pioneer website.

Connection is made through HDMI® and Bluetooth. Please use the HDMI adapter that your phone vendor recommends. If your phone supports MHL® to HDMI adapters and is not of the Samsung brand, you can use our Pioneer CD-AH200 adapter.

4 ★I don't need it anymore. It was an okay app, it did connect my phone but nothing else, but that's my own fault the radio was installed horribly and barely functioned. But we got a new car with a nice radio, it crashes often but otherwise it's pretty good.
1 ★Junk app, Pioneer screwing their customers over. I can no longer get my android auto to work and all it will tell me is to use this app and no apps currently installed will work. Though I've been using it with no issues for 8 months... If this isn't fixed I'll never buy anything Pioneer again My radio is the avh2300 nex, my phone is the Samsung s20ultra, I've tried multiple high end high speed cords, and even some random ones
1 ★I have been using Pioneer products for years as a DJ and thought they would be exceptional at everything they produce. This app shows they aren't and don't seem to care due to lack of updates. Utterly useless and very outdated. Come on Pioneer, sort yourselves out, this is pitiful.
2 ★I really disliked this app. I thought I could see my phones display on here. All it does is show the app displayed on the deck andnits through the usb cable. I mwan don't get me wrong some people might really enjoy it. I personally do not.
4 ★I'll give it 4 stars because it's not able to waze and it has very little apps, besides that I would have to say that I can do plenty and it works perfectly once one is able to figure out how to set everything properly. I did have plenty of problems trying to get everything to work at first but once I figured it out its been working great.
1 ★Trash app! The companion app this app needs is trash too. Pioneer never updates this app. didn't work well with my pixel, s9+, nor my pixel 3xl. Doesnt reconnect Bluetooth after disconnect. Doesn't connect Bluetooth audio if using usb and this app. The services this app allows you to use are sparse (spotify pandora waze) and there is a couple i never heard of and wouldn't use. This is likely why you cant use Bluetooth audio while using the app. The actual radio sucks too.
1 ★not even one star. app takes over your phone when you plug in the usb cord. it makes it difficult to charge your phone and listen to music. when you plug in the usb to your stereo, every few mins your phone trys to start the app even if you dont want it too. so the music just stops as your the pioneer app takes over. it makes me regret buying this pioneer stereo unit for my truck. i even deleted the app, but the now the stereo searches for missing app and still pauses music.
1 ★I dont see the point of this app. There's only a handful of apps that are compatible. It constantly gives error messages. If you have a droid, dont get a head unit that doesn't have Android Auto. Lesson learned.
1 ★I can't understand how it works. I've purchased Pioneer head unit recently and downloaded this app. After all installations and requitements have been done, it doesn't work. I cannot find how it should work and my headunit does not display me any information,however bluetooth is done and connections work. Samsung S8+ and avh-x395bt
3 ★Recently started crashing. I don't always drive the vehicle it connects with, so I don't know if it affects how it works. Irritating because of the continuous error messages. Worked fine up until about a month ago. Sprint Galaxy S8+

1 ★Didn't work, even bought the special wiring kit for it. Then pioneer tells me I need to buy a miracast dongle also. Pioneer used to be beast, now they're trash. Even my radio SD card in the radio went out after 8 months and now is unusable.
