2 ★The older format was so much better. I could go directly to headlines or verify section etc Now it seems to be in complete disarray. Also I have five tablets not running the latest Droid version and am forced to uninstall At least keep the old one operational. In addition what happened to the tv listings section ? It was a good easy reference while still reading the news.
4 ★I'm very glad to have the app! It has been so helpful in guidig me to look at the news more, and it works pretty well. Some times I tap the notificarions that appear, and they lead me to a blank page instead of the news article, but I can access those stories when I open up the app.
2 ★Forgot to mention that stories are not updated frequently. Stories that are weeks if not months old still get prominent positions on the page. Example of which is HBO pulling the film "Gone With the Wind" is still prominently displayed even though, at this time, the story is about 2 months old.
2 ★Desperately Needs An Overhaul...I was not thorough in my previous description as, I hurriedly brushed it off. (Rate app, popped up during use..irritating..). Upon further use, I have to say that the notifications are to me, useless as, when selected from the notifications bar, the app opens, but not to the topic which the notification was about in the first place. I often cannot even find the topic the notification was about. User interface not efficient either. Bad combination...fix...5 stars.
5 ★There's a couple things that would help this app. First being a subscription to remove any of those ads (including the click bait at the bottom) The amount of ads is horrible and I give the ads time to load in before I click on anything. Second, a comments section per article because this new is on fire!
1 ★The old app was much easier to navigate. All I wanted to do was watch the 10pm weather forecast and I have spent much more time trying to see it. I still can't find it and with the old app I could locate it within seconds.

2 ★Hate the new app. Except for weather, you have to scroll thru everything. Implementing the app before Imelda hit, Poor judgement on your part. I turned off notifications for everything, but weather and they still come up on my screen. Used to use the app all the time. Now ONLY for weather. Still watch on tv, but two thumbs down from me.
1 ★KHOU failed. Very poorly conceived & executed app redesign. From the pointless image during load, to the home page which is ad-bloated, jittery and jerky, to the layout which is difficult to navigate, lacks visual appeal and poorly serves the content, one wonders who thought this redesign would be a good vehicle for news & weather delivery.
1 ★Worst app ever!!! Super slow app and slowed my phone down dramatically! Hope you're not in a rush to get your news because the ads are never ending. Good luck navigating it too. So depressing.
2 ★Okay app but it has its issues like lag, videos blacking out, etc. This is despite on a new Note and with 500M internet. The worst part is the News itself has gone from mediocre balance to drastically one sided. Some "verified" information is completely ridiculous to force sell a narrative.
4 ★For the most part, this app is very reliable. Occasionally, I have to restart it or back out to get the correct article to show up after clicking a notification. Otherwise, it's great.
